The Lithgow shot great on the last two targets…….looking forward to the rifle match.👍👍
Nice to see the cz shooting great 👍
Those are slick setups. The ole BRNO “pappy” is always ready lol. Great video.
How did i know you would show up with pappy i just knew it. Oh the torture
GR8 VIDEO THNX SIR
Seems like higher end guns like the Lithgow, need more rounds down range to acclimate to to a new ammo. Love to see tests with S.K. yellow box, standard plus. Price for accuracy, they seem to have it over all of the ammo.
Awesome thanks.keep them coming.
I love your shooting and commentary because your more about shooting and lees about talking🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😁
Gidday. Great video as always. Hey I watched the wind in the bushes behind you, it definitely was different from the first of the Lithgow strings to the last. Cheers
Oh my it was much windier than the first time it was out. I just do not mention it all the time don't want anyone to think I am making excuses 😁😁
Nice job
Love the Lithgow, you know what ammo that barrel likes..ain't this one..
All the best to Mrs D.A.T.R.
I just adjusted the headspace on my LA101 and added a 0.02 shim to the bolt group. It stopped the “ flyers “ and became extremely consistent with SK Pistol match ammo . 0.2 inch groups were easy with every 5 rds at 50 yards .
How did you shim the bolt send me some details please
Love your video's :) CZ is a shooter....Lithgow just had an off day...obviously not the guy behind the trigger :). Keep up the great work....Melbourne Australia
Tony you a smart man lol lol
The target looks like it was moving about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch back and forth. If the target is shifting that much that would account the bullet holes not one holing it.
Mr Revolver Guy shoots in the Bermuda Triangle . It seems there is wind there all the time. If I remember correctly, he is stuck using the target holders provided by the range. I agree with your observation. Moving targets make it tough to shoot bug holes.
Always awesome 22 rimfire videos Eli. Well, that ole CZ452 laid the smack down today.
I just picked up another CZ457 Varmint 20.5 barrel yesterday #02340, its a tack driver! It doesn`t like ELEY ammo much.
I tried the Norma TAC-22 ammo in it this morning, one hole groups and a couple clover leaf groups. It shoots just like all my other CZ`s, dead smack in bullseyes.😊
I`m going to test a bunch of other premium ammo in it when it cools off a little. Its just way to hot out there in the sun for the next few days. Stay safe out there brother.
I have been hearing good things about Norma Tac. I don't have a 457 makes me want to 😢😢
You the best
Your son-in-law owes you a debt of gratitude, Sir.
I noticed you have your Ransom rear rest with two feet pointed to the front and a single to the rear.
That is the way I plan to have mine pointed when I go to the range tomorrow.
The right foot got in the way of my shooting elbow when both feet were in the rear last time for me.
I believe the way yours in pointed in this video is correct.
I thought Lithgow's final group was great but the CZ was more consistent.
I have tried it both ways. What's most important to me is that I am comfortable if not man it messes with my head. Doing that way also means I have both windage adjustment knobs on the same side as well. Let me know how things go.
CZ laying the smack down today.
We love to watch you shoot all those guns. Mr. Revolver guy you would think an ex marine could you lights out. The Marine recruiter called me 3 time back in the 70`s and I finally told him I was going to work to pay his wages and he said good enough then In my 40`s during the irac wars they wanted good snipers so I sent in a letter and some Cornell in fort knox wrote back and said I was to old but he wanted me to send him some young men and a few years later my son joined up to be a tanker and a year after I tried to get in a woman raised a stink and joined the army at 42 I said that was a bunch of bull I could have out run her with one leg. O well at 67 now I am ready to retire. I enjoy your shooting any way.
That CZ has it together.
Great video! Was so interesting seeing how the lithgow started out terrible then tightened right up. Will getto experimenting with my lithgow and I have a cz 457, butdont have a scope on it...will get there...using 4 different types of ammo right now and results vary wildly with both rifles. Sortingit all out is where the satisfaction is at I suppose
Philip I call that the rabbit hole. Trying to find the right ammo can look like a long dark path BUT MAN when you find the end the results are worth it
@@Dayattherange yes I'm sure you are spot on with that. I am just learning really
It's the glasses man. I mentioned this on another video you posted.
That CZ-452 ate that Lithgow's lunch... with RWS Rifle Match. But, with a different cartridge the results might be different. Both rifles are fine shooters.
Love my cz452fs
Another great video from you! I love what you did with the CZ. Big Red ought to be happy with that !
Question: Is the barrel free floated all the way to the action?
Barrel is free floated.
A tuner on that 452 would make it scary accurate
Cz452 American, Leupold Rifleman 3-9x40 and CCI subsonics .
All day long,
BROTHER ..!!!!! LOVE TO SEE THE MATCH ...!!!!!! LITHGOW START SHOOTING BETTER AT THE END ...!!!!!! DOUBLE G. HERE ..!!!! CALL CYCLOPS OUT ...!!!!!!!
CYCLOPS BETTER BEAT HIS NEPHEW FIRST IN A MATCH, THEN TAKE ON OTHERS!!😂😉👉
@@Plainsimple67 HE NEEDS POSITIVE THINKING ...!!!! LOL DOUBLE G. HERE ..!!!
its the amo in new guns you need to use different ammo that suits
CCI Green tag is the best ammo for the Lithgow hands down. You should get less than 1/2 inch or better.
Not being smart but who says? Did you get it to work well in yours or something? I ask because I have not been able to get it to work well in anything.
The Lithgow can shoot awesome on CCI junk - say CCI Green Tag - i have a 457 LRP but it only likes match rounds - SK Red Box, SK Long Range Yellow Box and Eley… lighten the trigger down to 1pound with a Yodave trigger spring and no one can beat you
My cz 452 varmint is my most accurate 22 by far puts the newer czs to shame
Great shooting - I wish your target didn't oscillate with the wind - that does not help group sizes
Yeah I am brainstorming to see if there is anything I can do about it.
My Lithgow LA 101 does not like RWS ammo. Lupua Midas+ is it's preferred ammo but also likes Eley Match and SK Rifle Match.
the cz especially 1980 issues on to 1990 take all amo no issues
Memorex audio cassettes yes you did date yourself lol. Great video BTW.
😢😢😢
Many years ago my Dad would glass bed barrels then thought changed to Float the barrel so it did not touch the wood. Is todays thought to go back to glass bedding ?
Free floating is the way to go because of barrel whip, best to bed the action, not the barrel.
DATR, well the CZ held its own " outstanding ", the Lithgow really needs to warm up ............ let's see round #2, ding, ding !!
I totally agree!
Where are your safety glasses
Is the Lithgow up for discussion?
Now if only I could find a cz 453 with the set trigger
Are you in Canada? I have one, it's the LUX version and it's beautiful!
@@irishkelly654 afraid not, my grandmas from Canada but we’re all Americans now
@@Conan361 - Too bad, it's beautiful. Bought it for the wife but she lost interest. Under 500 rounds. Anyways, all the best, cheers...
How nice 8s that Lithgow
How nice is that Lithgow
@@tonygavan5018 One of the most refined 22 I have seen. Yes and I have owned and touched Anschutz and others. For something direct from factory yest very nice.
I finished that memorex sentence for you. You must be mid late 50's
Are you kidding me I just like old commercials -- early 20's LOL
Wrong ammo for the Lithgow.
I agree
For some reason I have no interest in Lithgow or cristan arms
that lithgow is crap my savage from wal-mart is better then that junk .with bulk ammo
