Thanks, wish it was fully functioning as the normal Recycling bin but this is a start I guess. Its crazy in 2024 Windows cant just do the simplest thing like relocating the Bin with 1 click (without all the extra steps) if you wanted. Either way I'm just glad to remove the desktop icon for my OLED's sake

But you cant right click on the icon and empty the bin... also the icon doesn't change when the bin is empty or full...
because its a shortcut the real one cant be there because microsoft dosent support it

Windows 11 on my brand new laptop won't let be drag the recycle bin to the taskbar, nor is there a right-click option to do so.
That's odd that you don't have right click... I would plug in the mouse so you have access to it.
