As far as gaming mode it may or may not help it depends on too many variables. Game Mode gives top priority for your game - this is useful if you are running multiple software / processes at the same time - Where it will hurt game performance is if your game is relying on multiple software or processes running at the same time, if not, then it may actually improve performance - by how much, it depends - maybe on high-end systems barely noticeable, it might help more with lag and frame drops. It's best to keep the option OFF, if you have a powerful enough system and your game has decent enough frame rates and turn it on if needed, but the best thing that will give noticeable increases in performance is debloating the OS, and if you are an advanced user, dedicate a partition for gaming on a light version of the OS without all the bloat and installed apps that run in the background - this is what I do - I have 2 x Samsung 990 Pro 2TB, 1 for system and apps, another one dedicated only for games. and 1 Samsung 990 Pro 1TB dedicated for windows temp and cache.

I did this on a machine that originally had 7 installed & was eligible for free upgrade to 10 but ran into minor snag & owner said "forget it". When 7 expired she didn't want machine & sold to me & I put 10 on it but unactivated. Finally got it legit via your sponsor for a little over $16 (& although "unsupported hardware" got 11 on it through a workaround!). Thanks!

Yeah. It tends to follow the same trend. Every other major Windows release completely sucks. Windows 2000, XP, 7 and 10 were actually pretty solid out of the box. Windows ME, Windows Vista and Windows 8 were just terrible from day 1 and never really got much better.

XP was prolly that one and only time MS got things right from the start. 7 was good at launch as well, but it feels like a rectified version of Vista than a new Windows.
I tried the most updated version of Vista before (SP2). Without any bloatware and with the proper drivers, it was actually a good OS imo. The problem was we already had 7 at that time so this improved and more stable Vista came too late.
8 was a curious OS. One big reason why people hated it was the GUI, which was clearly tailored for touch. MS was trying to go for a Windows that was for both PCs and touch devices. Imagine if they did it right.

The core isolation screen may not even appear if your PC doesnt support any memory settings. It would be a good idea to warn people about editing the registry you can do a lot of damage if you are not careful.

I don't see the issues people have with Windows 11. I was nervous when I upgraded from W10 to W11 on my 3 year old laptop after reading bad comments about it but upgrading was a breeze and it's been running sweet ever since plus it's not much different from Windows 10 anyway.
I recently upgraded to 23H2 and it's still running great.
I've also had the same positive experiences on my Wife's 2 month old laptop and the Gaming Desktop that I built 9 months ago using a combination of old and new parts.
All I can add is that I do keep on top of PC maintenance so maybe that's the key to happy trouble free computing.

Oh yeah I must say I cannot believe some people dislike your T-shirt, I gave you a LIKE on this video especially for the T-Shirt 😂 Though I wouldn't necessarily fart, as it's hard to control your farts, but I usually step back and show my fist, because I don't like being hugs or even the thought of it - and I can't believe some people impose hugs, my body is my personal property, I do not like people stepping on my personal property, and even less I can do without hugs - words and actions to me mean more than fucking hugs - so yeah I love your T-Shirt concept, and I can promise I won't fart if someone attempts to hug me, they will instead get a verbal confirmation that I don't do that shit.
I wish people would focus on your video and content and not make a fuss about your t-shirt.

It depends. Ultimately all drivers even the ones available on Windows update are manufacturer drivers. However, those drivers are known to be kind of outdated. Thanks for the tip about restoring "some" of the context menu function, however I wish there were a permanent way to enable "Move To" and "Copy To" from previous Windows iterations. There is a registry hack, sure, but as soon as Microsoft updates Windows, that hack is disabled because the new registry key is wiped. I move huge files and "DnD" or "Ctrl-c/x" can result in heartache when, not if, it goes sideways because file manager is still unstable in Win 11--even after ~4 years. Why on Earth did Microsoft think that "Copy To" and "Move To" were something to remove? I loathe the file manager, menu, and context menu design of Win 11. That is why my new PC got rolled back to Windows 10 Pro and will stay Windows 10 Pro. I've been a member of the Microsoft Insider Program and Beta testing program for more years than I care to admit, and Win 11, to me, is akin to Windows ME. Heck, WIn 8 was better, out of the box.

Just like Android, now Windows comes with bloatware installed. On the start menu, not all the programs pinned are actually installed as a few are waiting to be installed with a click

    Great Videos..
I have been using windows since 3.11..
But actually.. Im starting to think about moving away from Windows towards Linux..
I hate that you cant customize windows to suit your feel or flavour..
And with the rumors, that Microsoft are moving towards only to install programmes from the store.. Then we are at a point, where Microsoft decide, what you can install, and thats not a place I like to be..
Not to talk about updating, when WINDOWS want you to update or upgrade, instead of when YOU want to update and upgrade.. And the rumors, that it will turn in to subscription based OS...
Love to see, how many will ditch Windows if those things happens.

I thought it was to minimize the context menu but it's just the old style of the context menu... is there a way to keep the same style but reduced in things? Just to keep the basics, copy paste delete order by and new...

Note: You might not be able to change the power mode when a custom power plan is selected. If you can’t set the power mode in Power & battery settings, open Control Panel, select System and Security > Power Options, then choose a Balanced power plan.

There's also a bug on some systems on Windows 11 ref CPU cores being used, going on MSConfig then boot, advanced options and simply unchecking the number of processors box and then restarting your system fixes it.

Maybe I am late to the party, but after using a couple 3rd party apps, I have 11 looking and running exactly the way I like it. It is fast, stable and once you find all the settings like you have just shown, a little less intrusive. Supposedly 23H2 comes out tomorrow
