Work the glutes! Exercising the glutes is the number 1 thing that has helped me. Research videos for the best butt excercises that work for you. Stay positive, make healthy lifestyle changes and dont give up, this stuff takes time to heal... good time to get to know yourself and how your body works. You got this
@@zaneahmed5955 There is a difference between real sciatica and leg pain. If you have the real sciatica you wont be doing any glute exercises. You will be crawling around on the floor to a hot bath tub or ice tub. You can't drive can't sit, can't sleep. If it doesn't affect your sleep then you are lucky. I guess there are different levels to what sciatica is but if you get the real sciatica it's the worst pain you can ever imagine and not just like breaking your arm or leg or ankle, it is that same pain 24/7 that never lets up. Good luck to anyone suffering real sciatic pain.

For all those who have been diagnosed with the herniated discs , sciatica and or both, trust me it's the worst pain out there one can imagine...I'm 34 now and have recently had a second lapse of this dreadful painful herniated disc this time the L4 and L5 level, earlier being in the L5 and S1 level way back in 2015 - 2016 , which took me in the painful and dilapidated pain for almost 8 months before I fully recovered ( another 5 months of the mental block to clear for me to resume all of my normal activites ).doctors had advised me microdisectomy back then cos the herniation was a large , I did not go through the surgery then and did not go through it this time either...Present update I've recovered from the lower back and radiating pain almost by 80 percent.and hopefully by exercises and the continued efforts if keeping myself active ( I'm doing a combination of walking for 30 mins , dead hanging helps a lot, decompression of the spine exercises helps a lot ). it gets better and one can recover fully.Have to be patient Nd have to go through that intial acute phase...Speedy recovery to all those experiencing this dreadful pain.
I'm only 19 and have been diagnosed with sciatica. I lost friends, cause I couldn't go anywhere. I lost my chance at a job, cause I couldn't get out of bed. I couldn't do anything, at least not by myself. Getting dressed, showering, even sitting up. No one knew what was wrong for so long. It took over my entire life. I was bedridden for months. I'm in phisical therapy and am slowly getting better. I'm sure my problem isn't nearly as bad as yours, but thank you for this. I feel not so alone now :)
I don't know if you'll see this message, but see this video about food and lower back pain: th-cam.com/video/Ndqn2cQ1t5w/w-d-xo.html Michael Greger is a great doctor and he shows how degeneration of the discs (causing sciatica) can be caused by diet. It's never too late to learn with him and change your diet for the better. See his videos on nutritionfacts here on youtube or his TED talks - both amazing.
Hi, I suffer from chronic sciatica in my left leg/hip. Generally I am on a mix of paracetamol, diazepam, dihydrocodeine, and diclofenac sodium. I’m supposed to limit this dose to once every 4 hours but practicality tends this towards once every two hours. Other than shuffling around I can find no comfortable position - I haven’t sat down to eat a meal in months, can’t watch TV with my kids, driving is a 50-50 experience: either it is the most comfortable I have ever been in my life and I want to just drive everywhere all day, or I can’t manage 100 yards without having to fall out of the car in agony - same car. I live in the UK and the NHS is in crisis - essentially it’s a triage system now meaning that if they can give you painkillers and get you off the waiting list that is the main concern. The most hurtful part of this condition is the effect on my family - it puts the kids (13 and 15) through terrible stress to see me in such intense pain - sometimes I can barely stutter out a sentence I am in such electrifying agony, other times I am so doped up my speech slurs and I can forget their names. My wife is, essentially, a single parent now and my inability for support and physical intimacy is a strain.
The first time sciatica hit me was the pits. I was 34 yrs old. Tried everything & was at the point of surgery. My brother got me to read Dr Sarno’s “Healing Back Pain....” & that plus swimming & an honest attempt at meditation sorted me out. It’s been 11 years and apart from a severe relapse last year which lasted about 3 months I’ve been good enough to run a marathon & participate in multi-stage MTB events. When the pain starts I know it’s because I haven’t been paying attention to what’s important & instead getting lost in the nonsense that characterises so much of Western life. The sciatica is like a kind of emotional barometer. Let me wish anyone who suffers from this godawful affliction a speedy and lasting recovery
Nishida Williams Ok brother please listen I’m not asking any money nor recommending you any website to use Just download the book “ healing back pain” dr john sorno and read it act upon it. And after one week when you feel you got your life back just again reply me and tell your happiness. I went through this sickness for one year but Now thank God I’m perfect. Just do it bro Good luck By the way the book is available on internet just download it
Thanks for sharing this.......I can’t imagine having to deal with sciatica for 2 years :-( I had a sports related hip injury that caused my piriformis muscle to get inflamed and sciatica basically kicked my butt for 7 months and one day it just disappeared 🙏🏽
I'm going through this right now. The pain is so intense. Right side of my back to my toes. It never stops. I don't think people understand how constant pain will make u think about wanting to die.
Hi Kenny, YES you are so right about not getting surgery!! I had a herniated disc went to chiropractor then did surgery which made nerves worse. Swim YES that's what my Dr said to do. Keep updating your progress please💖⚘
@@tomslick2058 Hi what excercises can you do or anything else you can recommend please? The fusion surgery caused major facet joint damage. The Dr. wants to do a rhizotomy I said no way. Thank you kindly
Well fusion is different. You have a 40 percent chance being worse Diskectemys are pretty successful. You cant do chiro with fusion. See a pT therpist and see if the cobra strech is okay to do. Not sure decompression is okay with fusion. You must of had a complete blow out for fusion. Most disk promblems are leaks. Surgery is fast and inavasive. Had one on c4,5. Played around with it for a yeah and then had surgery. Im doing chiro and the cobra for a pinched nerve in the s1. But I also have a appointment for a neurosurgeon who is conservative. but will at least order a mri. Dont put you eggs in one basket
Glad you got fixed, I dream about this happening to me at some point. Have had siatica for 6 years and I'm 22. I take about 10-12 paracetamol a day to manage the pain because I don't know what else to do, nerve flossing and other stretches only give me a little relief for a few minutes then I need to do them again. Some days I can't even think straight cause of the pain, can't even really move some days, and like you have mentioned in your experience I have considered suicide a lot but I know that's very selfish. I feel like nobody I know understands how much pain and discomfort I am in cause it can't be physically seen. It definitely contributes to being extremely depressed. I know many people are way, way, way worse off than I am but it feels frustrating how there doesn't seem like any cure or fix so it is really encouraging to come across this video!
Thanks a lot! I'm sorry you're going through everything you're going through, tell me about yourself and how your sciatic started, what have you done for your situation, do you have bulging disc's or herniated disc's, have you done MRIs etc.? Keep in touch where are you located Btw?
Ciaran Boylan, I understand your pain and how overwhelming this could be, mentally and physically. I am a believer of Christ, and God has healed me before. I don’t know if you believe in Christ, but I want you to know that I will be praying for you everyday and you will be healed in Jesus name. Don’t lose hope! Luke 5:12-13
Hey everyone, I know a lot of people are interested on my situation and who to see to get REAL help. I'm going back to my guy and I'm going to film him work on me, and have him explain things as he is doing them. This might take a couple weeks, but keep checking in with me for the video. In the mean time, be good to your body! Eat foods that can help with inflammation as well. Peace

Thank you for this video. I am 3 weeks into what you describe. It is so painful. I started the decompression table last week and there has been some relief. I do not want surgery. Thank you for sharing you experience. I will bring my Femur bones to my chiropractors attention.
Dear Kenny, I have been dealing with this problem for years and years and I am very happy to have found your story. I am going to act upon this. Thanks you very much for sharing your experience.
sciatica is a nightmare. i'm 30 i have sciatica every year and it gets worst in the winter, pain comes back in mid september to march, and this has been since 2011. i quitted so many jobs every year because of this...
@@greaterthings5652 mine was constant too. yes, it feels like you walk like an old man. try to put up with the pain for about a year and see what happens. start swimming and see a chiropractor for advice. do some stretches for sciatica. my sciatica, after 4 years, is not really an issue at all anymore. i can hike for miles and miles with no problems.
@@hollowhed I am recovered from pain some time back. I can't say 100% but I don't have pain anymore. I use to drink tumeric milk daily and take ayurvedic medicine with back massage with coconut oil.
Sciatica is generally from sitting for long periods. Especially sitting in an Ackward positions. Too much leaning, bending and being slouched while sitting. The best way to avoid sciatica is if your sitting get out of the seat often. Walk around. Think about your posture when seating. If you start to do any leaning or bending stop and sit straight. Leaning and bending while seated is the worst thing.
Yeh and no, I was injured and created sciatic, I’m very active and pretty health conscious, sciatic can be caused also by weak glutes as well. But yes the sitting to long, or twisting and bending combo is BAD.. reality is, there is many diff ways, either way sucks! We are all individually responsibly for our health, listen to your body and don’t cut your self short in life by neglect 👍🏻 Stay strong
Hi Kenny. Hats off to you for making the video, I really found it useful. It's nice to just hear from other people feeling the same pain! I'm 31 and have been suffering for 6 or 7 years now. Can barely sleep, just feels like I'm being electrocuted when I try and turn over. Evenings and mornings are the worst for me. I find exercise eases the pain during the day but then back to square one come the evening :-( I've had a prolapsed disc, seen a physio, a chiro, had acupuncture, had 3 MRIs, X-rays, lumber injections, facet joint injections, seen 3 neurosurgeons and I'm no better. Got generating discs, cracked discs, discs with no shock absorbers and a squashed disc woohoo! Still, there's folk out there with weeks to live so I can't complain really, just gotta suck it up and keep trying different things. Hopefully we can all find that one thing that relieves our pain... I'm certainly going to get my femurs checked out having listened to your story. Thank you 👍
Thank you so much. I too have been struggling with sciatica…I have a L-5 bulging disc as well…it’s gotten so bad I’ve had to walk with a cane…I’ve had injections, adjustments and nothing has helped. What kind of doctor was he? I need to find one like him.
6 years later this is helpful. I developed Sciatia after a massage and I am worries. I am going physio but nothing is helping. Thanks for mentioning the Femur I will ask about that on my next visit. This doesn't come up in researches.
I've been very proactive trying to get it fixed in the UK using our national health service, but I've gotten nowhere so far. 6 months of the same symptoms. I am considering a plane ticket to see this practitioner!
I'm 48, when I was in my early twenties, my back "went out" a few times just from bending over to pick up a pen I had dropped on the floor. An Xray showed I have scoliosis. About ten years ago, I got into weight training, and a few years after that, into powerlifting. I wasn't moving that much weight, 305LB squat, 400LB deadlift but for me, with average to below average genetics, these were heavy weights. I've let myself go a few times, and I used walking at an incline on a treadmill as a way to compensate for the extra calories and later to cut. I think all of those had cumulative effect. Over the past decade, I literally, maybe missed five workouts. About 3 years ago, I made the mistake of deadlifting at this new gym, the floor turned out to be uneven. I was just coming off a long cut. And all the weight shifted to my left, I felt tingling and lost a lot of the feeling in my left leg. It took me a few months to recover. I never went back to lifting anything heavy. Cat-cows and half-cobra stretches really helped me. Also, losing weight is important. And walking on a flat surface. If you begin to feel sciatica after 10-20 minutes, find a place to sit down, take a minute break and continue walking. You will get better with time. I also had MRI done, I have L1-L5 herniated discs with radiculopathy.
Awwww man i really needed to watch this video . i was literally just breaking down right now watching surgery videos for my last resort . Its been 6 months and ive been im crucial pain 😔😢😢 im def goimg to ask the next chiropractor and see what he says 🙏 thank you for sharing
Where are you located? Tell me what they say, im prob. Pretty sure a chiropractor will just keep adjusting your hips, the guy I went to created his own methods which is awesome. I called my chiropractor I was seeing before and mentioned it to him and the chiro got really defensive 👎
Seeing your channel it seems you got your pain fixed? I’ve been using Keto Diet and exercise to manage my disk. I take it easy and try and walk as much as I can even through the pain. Curious to know if your condition improved and if so how did you do it?
I’m doing pretty great! Everyone is diff. Funny how the mind effects the body so much! Keto is good! I did that for over a year, now I’ve jumped over to intermittent fasting, which I’m almost on year 2 of that, which I love! Look into it! I’ll make a update video soon!
I've had severe sciatica pain from my L5 S1 herniated disc down through both legs and numb feet. Going on 6 1/2 years. Doctors don't believe me. I'm so tired of living in pain and numbness.
Ou have an annular tear most likely and dr tony mork or dr deuk at the duke institute will fix you ,,dr choll kim,,inspired spine,,there are so many,,i wasnt getting help either same issues as you..its a simple fix
i don't know a lot of about herniated disc's, but if its bad idk many options you have. where do you live? I will ask the guys that works on me about options for you :)
Curious how you are doing now. I had a ruptured disc, for those with Femurs out of alignment like you I say find this guy you went too or someone who can fix that but for a lot of people surgery is the only way. I was in extreme pain for about 2 months, could not walk or stand, worse pain in my life. Knew I could not go on, had the surgery and was pain free when I woke up. I tried everything in the book to fix, it... Spinal Injections, Acupuncture, acupressure, Manipulation, Cold Laser, Dry Needling, Inversion, Spinal Decompression, massagers, every stretch known to man. Nothing worked. So surgery was my only option. The only thing I wish I had done is have surgery sooner. If you pain is to the point you can't walk or even drive or go to work or stand long enough to get gas in your car. Don't wait to see a real Neurosurgeon. I am 6 weeks post opt and pain level post surgery was 10 which I call suicidal pain and day of surgery off all meds no aspirin no advil, no tylenol nothing. Pain was maybe a 1 and that was just from the surgery and incision. I am glad you found relief and I am telling you I would have tried your guy, I would have tried anything, but for me Surgery was the only answer. I am not saying this video is like some but it infuriates me when I see other videos that claim, Sciatic pain cured with one stretch or 5 minute fix for sciatica. If these quick stretches work and cure sciatic pain, then guess what they didn't have real sciatic pain.
Yeh everyone is in a diff. Situation. Some need surgery, some don't and still get it. I'm 95% better, I even started mountain biking again, but within balance. My dad got sciatic a couple months ago an couldn't get out of bed, 2 weeks later it went away, "lucky"! I guess the question is, what happened for you to get sciatic? And did they fix the issue that caused it to begin with? Glad you better though man!
Yeah they did the Microdiscectomy, the injections gave me no relief, post surgery I was 99% pain free, I just started PT so trying not to re rupture the disc, I know its a 15% chance or more and have heard of people doing it. So my plan is to try and get back to the things around the 6 month mark. Just very scared of re injuring it and starting from square one again, but without surgery I would was able to function at all, just lay on a couch all day and night with the worst pain in my life. And I have torn both my ACL' s at different times, had my arm and ankle broken, fingers toes etc. Doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and this pain was worse than all of those combined, Man it sucked. Glad you are better and found a good guy to work on you. I wasted tons of money on guys doctors and chiros promising me a fix. In that amount of pain I would have tried anything. Thanks for the reply.
KB Adams I agree with you: Sciatica is nothing that an average person can understand. I have had injuries before and not a single one depressed me, but sciatica had me praying on my knees one week into it. People just don't understand chronic sciatic pain. If you don't get depressed from pure torture (which is what sciatica is precisely) then you must be crazy. It is the absolute worst pain a person can experience. It is with you non-stop and it won't let you stand, sit, walk or even lie down to sleep. Take that!
I am dealing with Herniated disk on L4 L5 S1 Sciatica Nerve and Piriformis Syndrom severe pain in my buttocks and runs down to my left leg. for last 3 months. I am getting chiropractor and Physio sessions but no relief. First time I had my sciatica problem around 9 years ago but after getting adjustments and some exercises I was able to walk run and play club cricket until 2012. Once I am gonna hopefully by the grace Allah fix this pain. I will never stop exercise to keep my structure in good shape.
Azhar sorry to hear this bro! Listen start swimming if you can, work on your gluts if you don’t, and stay away from overhead heavy weight, cause your causing more compression ya know, which would only cause you more problems. Core and swim. I’ve been intermittent fasting for almost 2 years also, love it!
I injured myself abouts year ago in gym class. I still do the know how I hurt myself but I was using a machine that I'm supposed to Push with my legs. I was in it for about 15 seconds. Long story short I get off the machine and something feels off. I go home a couple days later (dorm student) and miss two weeks of school. Fast forward again about a year later and the pain is back worse than ever. I can't sleep, socialize, and I miss being able to workout more than ever. I've been gaining weight witch makes things worse, and found out I have sciatica. The worst part about this is that I'm only 16 years old in grade 11. Is there any hope that I can get my life back together...
Look up stretches for sciatica relief. I've read that walking and stretching can help. Best of luck. I'm going to keep researching because I dont want to take pills.
I had an MRI 2 years ago in China. They opted for surgery but I resisted instead they gave me a lot of muscle relaxant meds that would last for a year.In 6 months I got used to the meds and they weren't working anymore.I'm now 27 and moved to Thailand, the pain gets worse because of the long hours of standing at work.I have a doctors appointment this coming week,I'm hoping for the best.
My chiropractor ever told me about my femur !!!. I'm going on almost 2 months of sessions with my chiropractor with no difference just more pain and it's always the same exact adjustments and nothing to do with my femur. It's to the point now where I don't even feel or hear any pops or snaps during her sessions and no improvements , so it's like she's not really doing anything. Literally it's like a 5 minute session each time and I'm pushed out the door at 60 bucks cash per session. Another thing is I've noticed that she has a room full of patients and it's the same faces every week and most of them are walking around crippled like me . This Monday I'm scheduled to go back and I'm definitely going to bring this video with me and asked about my femur and then read her face expressions. I've always been getting this feeling that she's hiding something from me in order to keep me coming back and she keeps telling me it's going to take a lot of time. Thanks for the video dude ! Young might have changed my life .
Wow, let me know how it goes! The truth is, she prob. Doesn't even know how to adjust the femur anyways, most prob. Are never taught details. He put mine back but mentioned there is a certain degree angle to put it back. Either way, where are you located?
Hi there, glad you have recovered from this hell on earth, I'm passing my 7 month mark, L4 L5 large disc extrusion, I've been doing kickboxing, martial arts and weightlifting for 20 years (I'm 33) and before my herniation I was noticing some popping at my left hip (no pain) and like my hips wheren't squared, like left hip was always in the front and right hip in the back. I was attributing it to martial arts stance, but now listening to your story I start thinking, as long as my herniation is remissing (2 mri's can prove that) my sciatica is not going away and I started to have slightly hip shift that I'm trying to correct. My question is: do you noticed anything before this good man diagnosed you with femur subluxation? Thanks in advance!
Bro I am also very much involved in physical activities but this happened 4 months mark ,do McKenzie excercises, do you walk daily?? it helps immensely now it slowly goes away, I m 80% recovered I can say, blood flow in your back helps a lot in recovery process , you feel slight difficulty when you 1st start doing these but as day passes on it heals automatically by our body mechanism and healing process .thanks !
I just healed from second lapse of sciactic pain. First one was 5 years ago was as worse as this one and lasted longer because i was young and uneducated. Last month it lasted only a week. I got lucky it exercise helped me a lot in reducing the pain and allow me to go se a doctor. I got injected by swollen nerve reducer or something and 95% of my pain was gone.
Yes you need a MRI You hit something on the head There are alot of bad Chiropractors out there. And PT therapist. Horrible self help on TH-cam. unfortunately the knife is sometimes the only answer especialy with the c spine. Alot of back surgerys are inavasive now. I had one on my neck. Tryed different things for a year. The nurolgical symptoms turned into sever arm weekness. A half hour micto surgery fixed me. I should of done it sooner.
I really need help sir, I have multiple bulging discs in my lower back and in my neck, I really need help, I haven’t found any relief from doctors or chiropractors. I’m just wasting my time and money, if you could please give me any information on the person that healed you, I would be grateful. 🥺🙏🏽
Ok so here is the deal, I'll be seeing my guy on thur. I'm going to have him answer some questions some of you want to know, is there ANY other questions you wanted me to ask for anyones current situation? Let me know ASAP! Thanks! Hope everyone is having a great day!
At the end of this year it'll be 2 years of having sciatica and wasting lots of money with zero results I still have the pain down my right leg, I've compared my mri with people who have bulging discs and my mri shows no bulging discs, I REALLY need your help brother I'm 32 and I'm miserable thanks to this pain

Hi... I have Sciatica for six months now. It's a nightmare. I don't sleep well at night, I can sit, I stand or work. I have seen a chiropractor and was adjusted and they wanted me to sign a contract. I have been to hospital twice all they give me is pain killer which are chemicals. The depression that comes with the pain is something else. Please if you do not mind, can I have the doctors contact because I don't have insurance too. I will go for an MRI
MRI out of pocket here in ca is 3600$ I can’t work or do anything. The 35 session chiropractor I paid for out of pocket was several thousand . Been spending all my savings on rent food meds wo insurance. I’m broke and had to sign up for medi cal. The stress and depression take a toll out of normal concentration especially when the pain is a constant 6 but can jump to a ten with one wrong bend. For about 2 years I’ve been dealing w the pain only for it to get worse. I live in Stockton not far away . If u can give me your dr. Number I’ll try. I’m 34 years old and had to cancel all things that keep me alive. Snow sports, biking, running fishing camping etc. even just plain chores. I’ve let the pain take over and I’m tired of it. What’s the hardest right now is I can’t walk and the brief min I get once a day is just enough to force out a bowel movement while standing over a toilet and holding the walls while pouring sweat because the pain is a 10 when standing. I’m going insane , been laying on my stomach for 2 weeks . Already went to er they said it’s just a back strain. Please any help!!! Thanks
i also thought of getting surgery. i was 30 then. my pain was so bad that i couldn't walk a block, and had bleeding hemorrhoids from being in bed all the time. the severe pain lasted for about 2 years. now , I'm 34 and back into hiking for miles and miles. the pain is there sometimes, but it's not an issue and i keep walking. i didn't do decompression, but i did see a chiropractor. i also began to swim. so, i guess all of that helped. yeah, it's crazy how many people get surgery.
Yeh listen to your body, with hiking etc and carrying bags, make sure your at least stretching daily. Your problem isn’t prob. Fixed completely yet. Either way, can’t stop living! Stay strong ✌🏼
@@augen8819 I still don't need surgery. Hasn't crossed my mind since. I walk a lot as a delivery driver. No problems at all. And, I'm able to skateboard like I did in the past. Rarely, I get small flare ups. Only temporary though. I can still hike and walk for miles. If you're suffering like I did in the past and have the luxury of people taking care of you, then maybe wait it out like I did before considering getting surgery. The severe pain that lasted 2 years for me was only extreme for about the first 6 months. Good luck.

kenny D I will email you, thank you so much for replying. Mine started after a bad car accident. I was car pooling with my boss to work and he drove head on into an overturned vehicle in the middle of the freeway. He was going too fast to stop. I’m just lucky to be alive. I’ve been to a neurologist and he said that I need back surgery. I went to acupuncture and I’m right back to square one. I’m in pain as I right this. Physical therapy was a joke, I tried that for 3 months.
@@therapeutichobbies8530 how are you doing? I hope you're feeling better. Did you ever visit Dr. Raul Rodriguez? mine also started after a car accident.
he is not a chiro. He's taught himself what he knows. he might be going overseas soon cause he specializes in scoliosis as well which is a major issue people don't know how to fix, but he knows how :) as far as the femur adjustment, depending on where you live?, but you d need to find someone that knows anatomy really well, and knows angles of the way the femur go back, and the femur for me what my core issue, yes it cause my pelvis and hips to be jacked which cause the sciatic to get pinched etc. but the core issue was femur which is primary to find the root cause, not the effects.
I would like to ask you about the specialty of the doctor that helped you, I'm suffering 24 hours I have done just about every thing from chiropractor to laser Class IV to spinal decompression and physical therapy and acupuncturist and inversion table I have spent thousands ofdollars, and nothing has helped me at all I have toke over 600 pills sense my pain begins on 9-2021
Thanks for this video. I am also dealing with sciatica from a day to day basis while still doing heavy lifting at work. It's a struggle and painful. I've spent hundreds of dollars even with decent insurance in California. I've been to Chiropractors, massage therapists, doctors etc and still deal with this sciatica. How do I get in contact with somebody that will adjust my femurs because I know most places won't don't it.
kenny davis Hey Kenny, is there anyway to get in contact with the chiropractic doctor you go to? I really need help getting better from my herniated disc. I'm only 26 dealing with this. It sucks really bad. It's an unfortunate situation I am trying my best to get out of.

i got over sciatica this way, raised foot of bed about eighteen inches, secured my feet, so that body weight, provided the traction or stretch , pain should subside right away,,stick to it long enough.took me eight weeks almost constant, even sleeping, crutches to get around. most confortable to hold feet is inner tube..

The only thing that's helping me is my medicine and drastic change on my diet to only anti inflammatory diet tons of fish, greens and onions. @@kennyd8462 hi! Yes but slightly better than before. I am in physical theraphy 3 times a week. They focus on my strengthening. The doctor said it takes about 6 months for the body to reabsorb the herniated disked. So around may 1 should be my 6th month. I'm taking it week by week no steroid shots or anything just physical theraphy and strengthening. I notice week by week I get stronger but the disked is still an issue but not as much pain.

Yeh doctors 😒 Sometimes... Birth opens your hips when giving birth which can cause your problems for sure! Messes with your pelvis and hips. Listen when you get your MRI and you go to your doc for results they may push surgery "if needed", but look at your options, pay close attentions to femur/hips/pelvis.. let me know how it goes, also there are a lot of exercise vids for releasing these muscles to give some relief 👍🏻 Let me know what MRI says

kenny D yes I've had sciatica for almost 3 year I believe I got a mri n it show that I have a herniated disk and the neurologist said it was pinching my sciatic nerve. When I was 30 weeks pregnant or 35 it went away but it came back 2 months later worst than ever. I literally need to watch how I move allllll the time now bc if not I get spasms before I would only get spasms when I would pull my back but now it's all the time and pills don't do anything. I live in florida.
What are the femur excercises he gave you? I’m thinking maybe it’s my femurs I don’t know. Also, my sciatic nerve gets irritated when i walk/sit/stand for too long. The only think that calms it down is by laying on my bed but they say that’s not good for recovery. Wtf am I supposed to do then? I plan on swimming and laying down until the nerves regenerate
kenny D i was trying to bellydance and i got injured . I did like 5 months of yoga and physical therapy and it totally worked and i did decompression excercises on my own by hanging off a door to stretch out my lower back and the pain centralized which was a really good thing and i was on my way towards recovery but i reinjured it last year by overstretching it and I’ve been recovering ever since. Ok I’m gonna check out your videos. I’m 27. This shit is the worst people have no idea

Hey man, I've been having massive pain from my sciatica but I also notice that my left leg has less inner rotation and it's funny cause that's the leg with sciatica. I hurt my back at work and herniated my disc to the point I needed surgery. I tender afterwards but i was back to normal. The problem I have now has occurred due to a lot of sneezing and coughing. And now it's hard for me to walk. There's so much inflammation in my left leg that it caused me to lean forward and try to walk. What should I do and what do you think?
I think surgery fixes the reaction but not to the problem, we don't have disc buldges, hern. Disc, etc for no reason. I think you have more going on in your hips/pelvis/possible femur.

And advice me on my future course of plan.
Work the glutes! Exercising the glutes is the number 1 thing that has helped me. Research videos for the best butt excercises that work for you. Stay positive, make healthy lifestyle changes and dont give up, this stuff takes time to heal... good time to get to know yourself and how your body works. You got this
You are riiiiiight man. I have a herniated disc and seems to be that glutes workout helps a lot.
Did u have sciatica

Wow. When you said “my pain dominated everything” it brought me to tears. That is what I’m living with currently, 2 months and counting. 🥺

Michael Greger is a great doctor and he shows how degeneration of the discs (causing sciatica) can be caused by diet.
Thank you so much for making these videos. This pain is pure hell….. it truly is about finding the right people.

Well fusion is different. You have a 40 percent chance being worse
Diskectemys are pretty successful.

We are all individually responsibly for our health, listen to your body and don’t cut your self short in life by neglect 👍🏻
Stay strong

@@kennyd8462Well, could you please name the doctor who helped you with your back and femur pain/issues?
It would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Kenny for the prompt response, I’m gonna look this Dr. up..
Did you get a chance to go see him?
Amy did you see this doctor what was your experience? Did he help?
3 years of sciatica, herniated disk on l4/l5. no drugs. I am trying two chiropractors at the moment.
How do you know this? MRI? Catscan?
If it's herniated what can a chiropractor do? Do you know the degree or it?
+kenny davis yea from mri. the herniation is quite big
i don't know a lot of about herniated disc's, but if its bad idk many options you have. where do you live? I will ask the guys that works on me about options for you :)
Hi, I live In Italy.
I'm tring chiropractic upper cervical at the moment. From x ray we found a dialligment of the first cervical vertebra.
👍🏻 be kind to yourself
Glad your better
Thanks, you too!
Take that!
Great taste in music man! Pyramid song is one of my favourite all time tracks ahah, wishing you well man :-)
Yeh buddy! Just saw then live 5months ago, so sweet!!

Im in your current situation..17 yrs grade 11 ..Sciatica from Deadlift,..how are you doing now?
Look up stretches for sciatica relief. I've read that walking and stretching can help. Best of luck. I'm going to keep researching because I dont want to take pills.
Thankyou so much for the Video, it gives me hope that i can fix this without the drugs & surgery. Hope you're doing well now. Thanks again Godbless 🙏
What happened? Why are you in this pain? What work do you do that your on your feet all day?
Thanks
good luck and I hope you recover soon
Thank you for this insight, I have never heard this as a suggestion either.
Im succeeded from saitica pain .....no technics obly do yoga morning and evening only some specific postures
Yes you need a MRI
You hit something on the head
There are alot of bad Chiropractors out there.
Keeny if you reading this please share your current story 2023 how you are doing now witj sciatica

How are You doing now
@@augen8819 I still don't need surgery. Good luck.

Thanks for the video. Was this guy a chiropractor? How can I get a femor adjustment?
he is not a chiro. He's taught himself what he knows. he might be going overseas soon cause he specializes in scoliosis as well which is a major issue people don't know how to fix, but he knows how :)
as far as the femur adjustment, depending on where you live?, but you d need to find someone that knows anatomy really well, and knows angles of the way the femur go back, and the femur for me what my core issue, yes it cause my pelvis and hips to be jacked which cause the sciatic to get pinched etc. but the core issue was femur which is primary to find the root cause, not the effects.
Decompression therapy didn’t work for me i took 27 sessions. I am still suffering its been 1.3 year

The only thing that's helping me is my medicine and drastic change on my diet to only anti inflammatory diet tons of fish, greens and onions. I also bought an invasion table but I'm only in day 1 of using it. From New Jersey I am done with steroids and shots I'll just find other alternatives.
Still in same boat?
@@kennyd8462 hi! Yes but slightly better than before. I am in physical theraphy 3 times a week. They focus on my strengthening. The doctor said it takes about 6 months for the body to reabsorb the herniated disked. So around may 1 should be my 6th month. I'm taking it week by week no steroid shots or anything just physical theraphy and strengthening. I notice week by week I get stronger but the disked is still an issue but not as much pain.

I am in the same boat as you and I have become more moody and meds and therapy don’t work I have tried everything and I don’t know what else to do I am scheduled for a MRI I started suffering from my back after I had a epidural for the birth of my son then I started with back pain doctors told me just to drink pain meds for inflammation but don’t work am going crazy with pain
Yeh doctors 😒 Sometimes...
Birth opens your hips when giving birth which can cause your problems for sure! Messes with your pelvis and hips. Listen when you get your MRI and you go to your doc for results they may push surgery "if needed", but look at your options, pay close attentions to femur/hips/pelvis.. let me know how it goes, also there are a lot of exercise vids for releasing these muscles to give some relief 👍🏻
Let me know what MRI says

kenny D yes I've had sciatica for almost 3 year I believe I got a mri n it show that I have a herniated disk and the neurologist said it was pinching my sciatic nerve. When I was 30 weeks pregnant or 35 it went away but it came back 2 months later worst than ever. I literally need to watch how I move allllll the time now bc if not I get spasms before I would only get spasms when I would pull my back but now it's all the time and pills don't do anything. I live in florida.
what do you do to help yourself with this situation that works? if you can get into a pool and swim swim swim! for the rest of your life :)
Evette Santiago Wish you all the best 👍
Evette did you see this doctor what was your experience? Did he help? Did you end up having surgery or what?
What are the femur excercises he gave you? I’m thinking maybe it’s my femurs I don’t know. Also, my sciatic nerve gets irritated when i walk/sit/stand for too long. The only think that calms it down is by laying on my bed but they say that’s not good for recovery. Wtf am I supposed to do then? I plan on swimming and laying down until the nerves regenerate
i posted a stretching video try those out and see if it helps. did your situation come out of no where? what happened
kenny D i was trying to bellydance and i got injured .

Once I met this guy that helped me, I came off cold turkey, 60mg of norco a day.
I was over it!!
I'm 15 and I have sciatica and I'm in pain but non of my friends know how I feel 😑
I’m sorry! It’s a lonely road! But you can do it! Be kind to yourself, and learn learn learn! Keep in Touch!
What happened btw? And what have you done to help?
@@kennyd8462 i do allot of dance and Before I got sciatica I did running everyday one day I must of not stretched for something and that's how it happened now it's hard to walk up the stairs without being in total pain I've had physio but that's rubbish x
Gotta get fixed, that’s the key for getting outta pain, and know how it happened so you don’t repeat the past 👍🏻
Yeh could have been a missed stretched day, I think what’s hard sometimes is the fact that we wanna do the things we did 10years ago, and we never learned to respect our bodies til we get hurt 😂
So for me when u say u run a lot, see I couldn’t run. The compression that would cause on my back unless it was maybe sand would be to much. But that’s me, so I get Cardio other ways currently 👍🏻

How did this all start for you?
Hi there I’m in the Fresno area and have seen 3 different chiropractors for my pain and no relief would you know if yours is still practicing in Sacramento if so can I get his information an email or phone # would really appreciate it thank you

Can any one advice me on this MRI report " disc desiccation with annular tear in left foraminal portion at l4 l5 level with left paracentral disc bulge causing mild compromise of left neural foramina and abutting exiting left L4 nerve root in far lateral region."
Some doctors say it is bad but on approaching second opinion the other doctor said not to worry.
I am not sure if I have a herniated disc or a bulging disc.
Pls help. And advice me on my future course of plan.
