Ok this is seriously one of the best videos on a Scotsman prodigy I’ve ever seen. And fast to the point without all the BS in between. We have a C1448MW - 32D. Thank you and just subscribed
I really appreciate your feedback. I happy you found this video helpful. Im looking forward to posting more Scotsman videos. That c1440 is a big machine!
Great video haven’t worked on a Scotsman since 2020 company I work for mostly refrigeration the boss endorses Howe, Hoshizaki and Manitowoc. I remember the condenser would get plugged up on the inside a real pain to clean if you had to work on a flanker.
That looks familiar! Our scale in New Orleans has more of a yellowish tinge. Gotta love pulling your water supply from the drainpipe of all the mid-USA plus the last 100 miles of chemical plant discharge.. aka cancer alley.
The harvest assist mechanism the number “1” reason my old boss would never recommend to his customers Scotsman nor Iceomatic he was a big advocate of Manitowoc for the “CHEAP” customers and Hoshizaki for the customers willing to spend more $$
That’s a really good question. It’s hard to explain. Essentially you have to remove the plastic cover where the water probe is at. Then disconnect the hose from the water pump and the plastic cover the water pump is attached to. Then you can route it out. It’s actually pretty tough to do. I’m sorry if this response is discouraging or confusing.
No worries thank you for responding, my ice machine at work is doing the same thing. Did it fixed the issue when you took it apart and cleaned them parts?
Hello. I have a Scotsman C0322 machine that has a damaged compressor. The current compressor model aka9438zxd works in a temperature range -20ºC to +10Cº... However, this compressor is not available in Brazil... Can I replace one that works in the temperature range -40ºC to -10ºC?

Yes. Carrying replacement parts definitely speeds things up.

There’s some good logic in what you just said. I’m more inclined to agree than disagree. Unfortunately “I have to be unbiased”.
Mine has zero scale. I clean it every month. Still getting a code 2 every time I'm trying to use it.
Oh that’s nots not good. Did you find the issue? Harvest valve? Harvest assist ?
Good video bruh.
Thanks bruh! Hope it’s helpful.
I have a question will a bad harvest assist trip the braker or the ice being too thick when i unplug the assist it doesn't trip
I honestly have no clue. I guess anything is possible. You got it to stop tripping the breaker so that’s a big win.
How did you remove that tube gray tube out completely?

Cleaning helps. Make sure the flush setting is set to max flush.
Not that hard if you remember to remove the probe sensor before yanking on the hose.
