Great video 👍👍 I find the Manitowoc’s easy to work on haven’t worked on a Scotsman in a few years as my current employer, no customer has any,current boss pushes Hoshizaki and Manitowoc the Hoshizaki’s I get a bit apprehensive to work on them.

Let's face it, if clients cleaned their own machine, we wouldn't have half the work. Easy money. Also, that machine came alot cleaner than I expected with that discolored curtain.
cleaning the sensors could become a nightmare,it is always best to replace when doing a pm,dirty sensor makes thin ice curtain does not open long harvest,code 2,or it does not sense,long freeze code 1.hopefully it helps somebody.@@subcoolHVAC
Been having an issue with flashing code 8. Doesn't appear to be running a freeze cycle long enough to create a good rack of ice. Have tried adjusting the ice sensor, but haven't replaced. Might try that and see if that works. Thanks.

Thanks, I don’t care too much for ice machine calls but where I work we do service a few and they have those 3 brands plus ice o matic too.
it would be nice if you could make more videos on that ice machine,how to check temp sensors and harvest assist ect.thanks for posting.

Make sure the machine is clean and water or scale isn’t making premature contact with the thickness sensor. Thanks for watching!

@@subcoolHVAC the problem is that the nickel is gone and the cells have come off from behind the board .. is there a way to do something there ??
Replace evaporator depending on condition of the rest of the head

Wrong rotation Too HI Temp Evap
You have a flaker … replace water filter, check auger is free and rotation sensor is connected correctly and clean.
