Hi Geo, you are very smart to pay attention to this content, as if you can get true results for your clients, you will make great money as an advertising agency owner.
If you are really really good at ADs, you can make 7 figures a year as an agency owner.
Lots of clients seem cheap and only want soso services, but providers providing true results are seriously rare. There are people out there dying to find an agency who can actually get results for them.
Everyone wants that, few can find it.
I would just say it's also best to have a good shorts TH-cam channel that enforces the message of the ad. Also it's important to have custom landing pages for each video you're focused on pinned in the video AND comments. People on TH-cam hate ads (keep in mind 30% or something are on premium they won't see your ads ever and are higher income people) and want to stay on TH-cam. They will always click on your other videos before they ever click on your landing page.
Since shorts are basically TikToks and I know that TikToks are awful at converting. The only approach you can take is showcasing info, social proof like none other and fake virality. It's all top of the funnel stuff to grab them into Google for retargeting or lookalike.
Having seen actual Google query data I would say ctr on shorts are much higher than even long form video ads. Which for the price makes this absolutely valuable
