Hey Ben, fantastic video as always! Just wondering how something like this could apply to a Mexican restaurant? We’re running an FB Lead campaign now for private hire at their venue but struggling to produce leads. The set up is dynamic creative (10 images, 4 copies and 3 headlines) on a £5/day spend with a radius of 10km from the centre of Birmingham. There’s also open targeting completely, as food typically applies to almost everyone. Would you say we should be targeting more specifically as Mexican food might not be for everyone? We’ve also got a lead objective but the optimisation and delivery is only allowing us to use conversions, not leads. Any ideas on this? Thank you!
At 8:47 you're saying that optimizing for landing page views in a conversion campaign is not a good idea if you want conversions. Then directly after saying that, you pick "Leads" over "Conversion Leads", which seems contradictory to the same example you just stated. Why do you want leads that probably won't convert? Leads that just contact you/fill out forms with no intention of following up? I don't understand this decision
Optimizing for landing page views and optimizing for leads through instant forms is completely different. Leads through instant forms can certainly convert.

No we would usually do this with both. You don't want to retarget people that have become leads already. But there are other warm audiences worth retargeting.
That completely depends what you are generating leads for. A car washing business probably needs $2 leads. A luxury yacht seller, can probably pay $20,000 per lead.

Oh yeah that's completely to be expected. The higher value people to reach are more expensive to reach. I would focus on cost per lead and ignore just about every other metric.

No we would usually do this with both. You don't want to retarget people that have become leads already. But there are other warm audiences worth retargeting.
What’s a reasonable price per lead?
That completely depends what you are generating leads for. A car washing business probably needs $2 leads. A luxury yacht seller, can probably pay $20,000 per lead.
It seems like this way of promoting creates a lot more handson sales work calling everyone back trying to pursuede etc.
I have a privacy policy on my dropshipping website, can I use this? Not sure how else to get past this part 😢
Yes that should be fine - you want to adjust it somewhat but otherwise all good
Please how do I add Google form to Facebook lead generation ads set?
Hello great video, I did all the same facebook approve all my campaign, adset and ads, but doesnt spent any money... SO no data.
Have you got billing all set up?
@@BenHeath yes i have, I contact the support team. They say will take a look but it will be fixed in next days...
The biggest reason is because i had blocked my ads manages account and now they re activate.
I am just wondering... Do you really use facebook lead form for your clients? Or do you use landing pages to optimiese the lead quality. Thanks for the video!
Why not use both? The only way to truly know is having a campaign for on Facebook leads and landing page leads. I would highly recommend a state of the art marketing agency that has proven high converting landing page experience though.
Yep we do :)
Stuart you are spot on.
would you suggest facebook ads for local service businesses?
YES, I;d suggest. it really gives good results.
Oh yeah for sure :)
Yes. I'm a professional Digital Marketer and all Social media expert.

Hello Ben!...Question: My website shoots out a coupon offer as soon as someone signs up/lead for my newsletter. Can this still happen when using lead gen through FB?
This is possible if you add in the coupon offer in once someone has completed the form.
@@StuartMacadam Great! Can you point me to where I can learn to do this?
@@joewashingtonoilpainter For something like yours, it's best to use a platform like Zapier to do this so you can connect FB and your email platform provider. I might be doing a video on this very soon, so if you follow my channel, I'll keep you posted.
Where is that retargeting video link at the end?
Found it in the description: th-cam.com/video/VTgeOHlRCxs/w-d-xo.html
Ah sorry about that - here you go: th-cam.com/video/VTgeOHlRCxs/w-d-xo.html
Hello Ben! I have a question: How do you collect mails from lead generation campaign?
You can connect your CRM and they'll be imported directly :)
@@BenHeath Thanks 🙏
@@BenHeath would you connect to your CRM from facebook? maybe you can do a video about this.
@@BenHeath yes please - a video about connecting your CRM would be really useful!
I launched 3 campaigns in pets niche i got 48000 reach, i can use this data to do re target to a new product that I didn’t advertise it already! Is it possible? And is a good idea?
Sure you can do that - provided the new product is related to the previous campaigns.
Yes, It is possible if you want. I'm a professional digital marketer. How can I help you?
I’m running my first leads campaign with an audience size of 7-8 million. My cost per impression is about $.03. This is much higher than when I use this same audience with different campaign objectives. Is this normal?
Oh yeah that's completely to be expected. The higher value people to reach are more expensive to reach.
I would focus on cost per lead and ignore just about every other metric.
@@BenHeath do you recommend doing a cost per lead result goal or sticking with the highest volume default?
I'd stick with highest volume.
