My diesel experience - 1- change your fuel filters every year when the leaves begin to turn or they will clog at the frost. 2 - there isn't enough to be said about coolant / oil pan aux heaters. 3 - regular gas at about 1:20 ratio works fine above 0*F for anti gel. 4 - use an oil pan heater to the bottom of your fuel tank for sub 0*F temps Never had a problem after that.
