Breaks will happen, im not too sad about it since the final peice was still so beautiful! Happy you like my staff bit, thank you for watching and supporting the channel!
That was a good video and I really enjoyed it. I got a couple of those chip parcels from 53 frogs too, and I have quite a few of those small thin pieces with a lot of colour as well. I should have kept those separated from the bigger pieces of boulder and matrix but I keep them all in a tray and I just realized that the small pieces like that are all turning to crumbs from me tipping it back and forth to change the water. Its almost like being in a rock tumbler for them, I guess. I'm going to try gluing them on something too, I thought I would dremmel little divets in my boulders with no colour and see what that looks like.
Thank you for watching and commenting! That's great that you got some material from 53 frogs aswell, Riley gunn has some awesome stuff! I have some coober peady chip material coming in from him aswell. not to mention i bought like 10 lucky dips from him, most were rubbish or just potch, but I was really surprised to have received a grand prize 80ct thin color bar opal from him, not sure when I'll shape that though it's kinda intimidating. It's a easy mistake to put large stones with the small ones, I made that mistake early in my opal hobby with some ethiopian opals in my drawer and every time I'd open the drawer they'd roll around and break, so your not alone. What I did with the little peices that broke off is I'd put them in a couple little bottles and make earrings with them, but gluing them on to something is also always a winner in my books.
Thank you for watching, commenting, and subscribing! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and my edits. the medieval clip is from a show called "crossbow" from 1987, it's pretty good if your into that sort of thing. I really appreciate all your support!
