Killer deal! I've had one in black since i was a kid. My dad tried to talk me into giving it back to him a few years ago. Glad i kept it. Absolute piece of art.
If it's a floating trem pull up on the bar and that g string would have went right back in tune. What an incredible find for $150. U paid 1% of it's worth! Is the neck super narrow at the nut ?
@@boechlerguitarsandrepair very cool! Some kramer's and charvel just have a little bit of a narrow nut for my taste. Espically the ones that have a floyd and I believe the "r3" or "r4" nut sizing.
Dream guitar for the eighties metal fan. Back in the day, in Europe these were impossible to get. So we all made our own partscasters. Here is the one I made in 1987 : th-cam.com/users/shortsgDvWInXr99U?si=gkLEDeYbVSa7RJDJ
I want to take the right approach here..... the thing is, I have been working in pawnshops since 1993, and I would say that by maybe 2005, you would already NEVER find this in a pawnshop. Any shop that understood the internet was hip to using the internet by that time, and any who werent were out of business. Then there was the "Japanese Jackson Pro and Charvel Model series are the best guitars ever" craze that hit around 2008 to 2012, and now the likelyhood of finding ANYthing like this at a pawnshop is now extremely low, and has been for at least 10 years. That said, it is still technically possible so Im not gonna call instant BS on this, but I absolutely think this is BS.
Any one who says this is a cheaply made garbage guitar,...obviously never owned one or played one,......exact same body and neck on their much more expensive Model series guitars they Charvel made that year with locking trems.
Man, you really don't understand these or you got a dud. I've owned multiple model 1s and the one I've kept has the snarliest tone ever. Put an original Floyd on and with an old super distortion had people asking me how I got that face melting tone. Maybe poke around and see if you can find one. And they're definitely not made cheap, Japanese guitars are now renowned for their excellent craftsmanship, fit and finish.
I've had mine since 87, they may not be worth much,.....but with the right pickup,...mine has an unbelievable tone, along with a Wilkinson, graphtech nut and locking tuners it never goes out of tune when doing dive bombs,.....if you don't want to mess with a Floyd,...you can't beat em,....

That's a steal at that price.
"I bought it for $150. Now buy it got $1,200" what a great guy!
That's the market for them...
@@boechlerguitarsandrepair I understand, but you can see how it looks.
@@DeadRabbit-ln8is I wonder what they gave the guy who pawned it

That pickup alone is worth $200…thats a beautiful guitar…great find👍
Nice find!
Damn amazing find. I absolutely love pawn shop hunting
It's a lot of fun!
It was GREAT in the days before internet. .
Cool Find! 🤩
Have an '87, put an '84 Floyd on and an old super distortion. The thing rips. Better than guitars 4x the price.
I've got one! I've owned it since brand new.
Great guitar
Sweet find
Nice Axe. Is it for sale?????
Not a super strat. No floyd ..but CLOSE

It's 1.69 width at nut, and the depth is .75. So it's slightly narrow at the nut and a thinner neck. Neck profile is a D

Awesome
Bass, as in the fish.
Fishwood.
You can find these on reverb ranging from 800 to 1000. Still way overpriced for what it is.
Have you ever played one?

Those guitars are cheap made, nothing special, always have been, they should not be as pricey as they are.
that;s why they sit on reverb for years.
