I apply a wax (any kind) to the metal threads before turning a bottle stopper...after one finished piece would not unscrew, and I crushed in trying to unscrew it. It helps.

Great little video. I watched Pete this morning as he turned a pocket watch stand. That project and these will both be great projects as I begin doing shows next spring.
