Turning a Wood and Resin Hybrid Whiskey Bottle Stopper

This video shows how I turned a bottle stopper from a wood and resin hybrid stopper blank. The blank is made from some brown mallee burl wood and colored Alumilite Clear Slow resin. The resin has been colored with blue and pearl mica powders. The hardware used for the stopper is made by Stainless Bottle Stoppers and is made specifically to fit most whiskey bottles. Thanks for the vid! Your link to the stoppers themselves will help me out. They are quite a bit cheaper where I get them. Just a tip. for mixing small amounts oe epoxy just invert an empty pop or beer can and you will see a bowl shape. Perfect for mixing this kind of stuff. Nice bottle stopper
