Having kids, I don’t see my self playing on the desk anymore because I won’t be able to sit down for 15 sec that some’s calling me. More and more I’m drawn into the Steam Deck because I see too the advantage to play and resume instantly anywhere in the house, free time allowing
Becoming a father was literally the reason I got my steam deck. I love my son more than anything but I was sad I didn’t have much time to play games anymore
I've had my deck since July 22 and it is still running strong. Easily have put over 1K hours into it, I've played and beaten Dark Souls 1-3, GTA V, Cyberpunk + DLC, Witcher 3, Hades, Hitman 1-3, Jedi Fallen Order, Elden Ring... I've put hours into but haven't beat, Sekiro, Division 2, Remnant 1, RDR2, Grounded, Fallout 4, NFS Heat, Ghostrunner... What a great device! IF there's a demanding game I can always turn to my PS5.
@@trakvalno, all you need is the steam deck. You can buy games on there, install and play. Some games might require some tinkering, I’ve never had a gaming PC before and the tinkering is pretty easy to figure out. I highly recommend getting one, I use it everyday.
The SD OLED made me sold all my multiplatform PS3, PS4 and Switch physical games that I didn't even had the intention to play. But on the Deck all of them run better and they cost like 80% cheaper. Also I instinctively play more than before, games are just there in front of you, just pick and play. And I made some good cash selling those games on the way. Win Win for me.
Picking up a deck oled soon and I’m super hyped! Love your videos man, silent unboxings are nice but you’ve got a great voice that’s clear and easy to listen to. Love the aesthetic too! Keep it up :)
Best purchase I have made in a very long time. The screen is gorgeous, the performance is great, the battery life is best in class when it comes to handheld gaming PCs, and the overall comfort of the device is A++. All in all, I can't think of a single con either.
I've owned it for a few months, and all of my JRPG backlog is finished. The OLED, 90 Hz, and weight are much better than the UMPC out there. I can play my favourite JRPGs, such as Final Fantasy 15, Kingdom Hearts 3, Persona 5, etc., on the go!
I've owned just about every handheld on the market, and I can without a doubt say that Valve is undefeated when it comes to putting consumers first. The price for the performance is great, the user experience is really incredible and well thought out on the device itself, and not only does it come with a really good carry case, but mine even shipped with a travel adapter because I live in a country that doesn't use the same wall socket format as the US. Within a week it's become my one handheld to rule them all.
My computer is currently broken and my steam deck has taken the reigns on my primary gaming device and, as much as it isn't as powerful as my tower it is still a super flexible platform, I never thought I could play games like Fallout 4 whilst on the train.
I wanna get one. I don’t ever touch my PlayStation so I sold it and the only games I did ever play on it are now on steam. And being able to play those games anywhere seems absolutely amazing to me.
Very good Review, camerawork is crisp but not over the top with B-rolls and such, to the point, honest, and good tips for accessories. Just keep it up now and you'll grow your channel nicely.
Btw it's known to be a good thing for devices to ship with battery percentage closer to half. The balanced charge allows for a longer lifespan of the battery, especially whenever these devices are sitting for long periods of time waiting to be shipped.
You are probably mixing up USB-C with Thunderbolt there with your Dock. The TS4 is a Thunderbolt 4 Dock. While some USB-Ports might be available over the USB-Layer, the Ethernet hardware there might be TB4 which your SteamDeck doesn't speak. That's why it's most likely not working. One other reason might be missing drivers for the ethernet chip but that would definitely need some more hacking on the system side of the Steam Deck.
Like the vid. If your taking recommendations? I’d say maybe add some background music, and panning shots to show the product or parts of the product being discussed
