The assembly is made of oak, white ash, sipo and jatoba with a light touch of
epoxy resin.
The finish is ensured by an enriched polish and carnauba wax.

Without question this is the most incredible piece of craftsmanship I've ever seen. That you did those butterfly inlays by hand rather than CNC almost seems impossible.

CNC work has no charm because it is too perfect, to see the mark of the craftsman you have to saw it and the scroll saw is a difficult art to master

I've only just found this wood turner. His skills working wood are first class. Doing a pattern, then cutting them out using a skill saw, then taking the cut pieces and putting them in the other wood blocks and they fit. That shows skill, and patients, that many don't have today, they want it now. 6 minutes is too long to concentrate on anything.

Not long ago, I said one of your great art works was "Picasso like" . Today I can´t help my self finding this butterflies have a remembrance of Dalí. Both of them mastered with brushes over canvas. But you are a master artist on wood and resin on a carpenter shop, and help me God, wood is a lot harder than canvas.

Yes it takes a lot of time to prepare the parts, not to mention the drying times of each element 🤪
As soon as I saw the butterfly I was drawn in! You see, my mother loved butterflies, and I lost her to cancer over 25 years ago. Your work is extraordinary and I've loved everything you've ever posted, but this one is exceptional! The time and patience it must have taken to do this work of art makes it even more endearing! Beautiful, the slight inaccuracies only add to the piece's uniqueness. If people want perfection it would have to be made by machine, which for me has no heart. I spend hours drawing dragonfly's with all the wing detail, I enjoy the patience that I was born with. Thank you for posting this awesome bowl.

Amazing. When looking at the final product there is soo much harmony between the different colored woods and butterflies, it was far from obvious to me at the start that they would not clash or compete against each other.
