Just re-watched your video ... for the 4th time? Oh, my; I need to get a life. But this is still the loveliest bowl I've ever seen (which is much what I wrote below). The richness of the wood--color and grain--is so beautifully highlighted by the blue and bluish-white resin. Stunning, truly stunning.
As you were glueing this together, I was really anticipating the final result, and I wasn't disappointed. It's one of my top favourites of all your pieces that I've seen so far. I really love it. The form, the colours, and the contrasting timbers work so well. It's a piece of art.

Another gorgeous piece. The contrast between the Sipo and Oak is very good, and especially the blue resin made me think of Eygpt for some strange reason, I think it was the stripes that made me think of that. It truly looks as if looking through blinds or shutters into a sky at twilight or the most gorgeous lagoon. The blue and sipo work off each other to bring out the beauty of the other. Stunning piece.
