I had Bariatric surgery 2 years ago and It really helped me lose weight and keep it off. When I was 16 Doctors where talking about it for me but because I wasnt the most obedient kid they wouldn't even tell me about it. I also didn't want to do the surgery as I had heart surgey at the age of 12 and didn't want another surgery. But at 19 I went to this surgeon who does the surgery and my weight was ruining my life I was about to flunk out of college. So i went to this doctor and not only did he treat me like an adult he told me what the surgery is the different types of surgery and that was all I needed to do the surgery. I had the Bariatric Gastric Sleeve done and while the surgery recovery wasnt a walk in the park for me. I suffered during phase 1 and 2. I was determined to have phase 3 be easier and that was when I found Coach Greg and the Anabolic diet I couldn't be happier. Around the recovery time which was during Covid I started to podcast my experience I didn't expect anyone to listen to it but people did and I podcast and talk about my other health issues while occasionally doing fun episodes where I talk about things that interests me. I couldn't help but think about ehat if I had surgery at 16 what if I had found Greg earlier would I have been able to lose that weight naturally or would the surgery have ruined my life at 16 because I was a moody and somewhat depressed teen
Thanks for being a loyal Sub and watching my Keep It Off videos! Super appreciated! Your story pulls at my heart strings! Wow, you have been through a lot!
I had the sleeve done some of the foods I eat gives me acid or a lot of gas for example I can't eat chinese food or hot dogs. Not being able to eat hotdogs made me sad that was my favorite junk food. My family is also grenadian so I can't eat things like Oxtail or spinach that is basically done up curry(I can't spell what it's actually called ). I also eat unsalted nuts like cashew once a week because I dont get enough roughage in my diet and the cashews help me go
I used to really love hotdogs as well. I’m sorry they don’t sit well with you. A substitute that I’ve made in my diet for hotdogs is chicken sausage they are much higher in protein and much lower in fat. Thanks for watching 🙏
Thanks for having me and can’t wait to watch your next episode!
Thanks for being on the podcast! 🙌
Hearing that her husband passed away from Covid broke my heart she has so much strength to keep going on
Absolutely she has a very touching and inspiring story. Life throws us some really tough curveballs. My heart goes out to her.
Thanks for watching 🙏
💜Thank you 💜
I enjoyed this. Looking forward to the next one.

This was really interesting
Hoping to expand the channel and bring an extra element to it. I definitely was nervous during the interview. Hopefully I will get better with time.
