If you stab the boot, clean up the puncture and then seal it with an RTV sealant. Super glue won't stick for crap and will come off quickly, anyway, because it isn't flexible. If it sticks temporarily, it'll just tear a bigger hole soon.

Nether of thoes. Use lithium based greas with molybdenum disulphide that is specifically formulated for cv 👍
