- "Operation Gladio is the codename for clandestine "stay-behind" operations of armed resistance that was planned by the Western Union (WU), and subsequently by NATO, for a potential Warsaw Pact invasion and conquest in Europe. Although Gladio specifically refers to the Italian branch of the NATO stay-behind organizations, "Operation Gladio" is used as an informal name for all of them. Stay-behind operations were prepared in many NATO member countries, and some neutral countries.
The role of the CIA in Gladio-the extent of its activities during the Cold War era and any responsibility for terrorist attacks perpetrated in Italy during the "Years of Lead" (late 1960s to early 1980s)-are the subject of debate. Switzerland and Belgium have had parliamentary inquiries into the matter.
The word gladio is the Italian form of gladius, a type of Roman shortsword."

I’m from Italy and I have been living in US for a while. Americans don’t really understand how powerful is their government in the other countries’ political affairs. Operation gladio ended to become one of the most concerning reason why countries like Italy are messed up with corruption, weak politics, financial multi-billionaire debts and mafia, one of the indirect organization utilized by the CIA since WW 2 .Innocent people died in Italy during ‘70, ‘80 and ‘90 as consequence of the spy Cold War fought on the two block’s border territory, which Italy was.
It isn't the USA with that much influence. It was a foreign globalist power that pushed WW1 like the Sykes-Picot plot, the conditions that led to WW2, the event causing the US to enter WW2, and all of the things people are fighting about now being forced on the entire West, not just a few nations in Europe. Patton was right about the wrong enemy (well, it was 2 enemies and we chose to side with one). Kanye was right. It's all true.

And it is almost certain Gladio false flags are not singular incidents and these sorts of things will continue to happen. One might think about the Black Lives Matters Protests/Riots and Jan 6th. as good candidates.
