People tend to view attacks, defense, invasions, and resistance movements as just a singular event when they're really more of a long grind. Ths first day can be really easy with all the adrenaline and preparation you've done. The next week or month are when things get really hard and it's only the strongest that can last even as the dead start to outnumber the living

Facts

Show up at a certain train station with an obscure newspaper? I wonder if some unwitting rando got picked up because that by chance had that paper at that station at that time. I remember in my hometown a couple decades ago a pot dealing ring running out of a fast food place got busted because someone actually ordered the obscure combo item that was their code phrase at the drive thru.

For the german part of Gladio, I can recommend "Die Organisation Gehlen und die Neuformierung des Militärs in der Bundesrepublik, Band 6". It's full of details.
P2 or Propaganda Due was an Italian Freemasonic Lodge that also was involved with Gladio

i mean nato had high level ex nazis at like the highest official levels of leadership, it was always a nazi infested organization, and west germany was a nazi rump state

Including heads of almost all government branches and military units at various points in time. There's a reason every single Nazi military unit which had any mobility left at the end of the war fled to the US and UK as fast as their legs would take them, the western allies never gave a damn about "fighting fascism" lol

@@jansliwa4881 I know a lot of poles hated the Russians but there must have been some polish communists who were loyal to the soviets. Form which the soviets can form some sort of partisans
@@danieltsiprun8080 But how could they get popular support? You need villages where you can get shelter.
For years after 1945 there was resistance against the soviets. Old anti-German resistance. They were chased by communists as potential enemies, many were killed.
I think the Soviets spent more resources on secret police units who hunt down Gladio like orgs on their end rather than establishing them, especially in the satellite states. Besides, the nukes would fly first before the Sovs would let NATO gain ground in Eastern Europe, thats your red Gladio I guess.
The KGB would have activated the local COMOSOL, but they were not exactly held in secret.

If European stay-behind networks had been used for their ostensibile function, it would have been all ok with that, it seemed a reasonable precaution. But they weren't, or, not always.

I am quite sure these organizations are still active today. But, how far are they involved in the riots today especially in countries with active left-wing parties and activists?
Proud Boys are all right wing. Those racists with the tipi lamps that Trump was a big fan of were all KKK wizards and very much right wing. That kid who shot people at the protests in the US was right wing. That Aussie who shot up those Mosques in NZ was right wing. Andres Brevik is pretty right wing. Both those countries are left leaning socialists. Which riots are you talking about?
