OmoBoey the matchup being grounded? Lol sheik can spam needles and Luigi cant do anything about it. If he try's to jump in any Ariel will push him back out. The only thing Luigi can do is catch landing with grabs or tomahawk grabs. Its NOT even, 60- 40 easily. Some say 65 - 35. The only reason Luigi can do anything is low percent combos and reading his opponents. But neutral is horrible for him.

He's the best Luigi fighting the best Sheik. Is this game really unbalanced? God, I hate tiers. Why can't every character be equally good. That way Zero doesn't have to choose Cloud and Sheik all the time.

Elegant is known as a Sheik slayer, beating VoiD and K9 multiple times.
ZeRo was able to overcome him.
Aflay as much as I dislike tiers, with the nature of the game it is inevitable. this match up isn't too bad for Luigi, but it does suck that a simple change of character can essentially tilt the game in your favor.

Its weird how pre-patch zeros shiek was the safest and now he throws out so many unsafe moves.
Shrek0101 he looked pretty safe here dude it's just it's Luigi and you need to go the extra mile or else the matchup is shit. Playing the way he did is the only way this matchup is a win for sheik
I was referring to some of the aerials he threw out such as the back airs that were leading to him getting up smashed or grabbed, I assume he was trying to do the cross up bair but he was getting HARD punished for certain plays like that and that would rarely happen with pre-patch zeros sheik.

Dont get me wrong I think the only sheiks better than zero are mr r and void I was just pointing out a difference from his pre-patch sheik to his current one. Also keep in mind that was a friendly and doesn't mean anything.
ZeRo's Sheik is a work of art, tho I noticed his offstage game just this set was on tilt a little..

I think elegant did an amazing job. I think he should have gone for a few high recoveries though? going for the low recovery everytime was predictable. I think he just needed a few for the mix up
Elegant is one of my favourite players right now. And it's so much more enjoyable to watch Zero's Sheik rather than his Diddy.
