People say Dedede is low tier, but can a low tier have this godly of a crouch animation? Dont think so.

Hi 7 months late but I think people say that because he’s probably a character that’s not played a lot. (I also say that Dedede is probably my worst character because I don’t practice with him.)
In my opinion, tier lists are irrelevant because you can be good with any character but people call different characters blank-tier because of how they play them and how good pro players say they are because like most of any gaming community, people would rather become a hivemind with a single opinion (most likely established by professional players) and an equal braincell count than actually consider maybe someone needs to try out characters and play them before they can actually establish what tier a character is in.
Just because MKLeo or some other pro player said “oh this character is bad” doesn’t actually mean that they are because you can be good with any character and usually professional players call certain characters bad or low tier because they don’t play them often or at all.

@@Seaofcider i definitely think tier lists arent nearly as important for specifically ultimate. In older smash games the gaps between characters were bigger but we're at a point where the game balance is pretty good now. Some characters are definitely still better but this is the first title in the series where theres no real 'Unviable' character. Ganon and Mac can both do good and have had results despite being bottom tier
@@Tripledeluxer Exactly. I play top tiers and high tiers too but I LIVE to get good with mid or low tiers, some being Jigglypuff, Luigi, Ridley, Piranha Plant, and Kirby. (Puff, Luigi, and Kirby especially because they’re so fun.) :)
