My mother never had any symptoms...she just randomly examined herself on world cancer day because there were posters all around the city to self-examine yourself...she found a very little cyst in her right breast and was diagnosed with breast cancer...we were lucky we found it at an early stage...she had to go through surgery and 4 rounds of chemo and she survived...to all the ladies out there please take 5 mins out of your day and examine yourself...also mammogram after 40 is very important...it can detect cancer cells way before it turns into a lump...I hope no one has to go through what we have gone through

My grandma died on may 11th by breast cancer she fought cancer for 1 year it spread all over her body we were too late it was round 3rd stage and after some months it became 4th we all tried our best she had the best kind of chemos and a lot more she even got rays but.....she still left us i loved her like a mother but she lost....still she is a warrior for me she fought like a warrior.
So to everyone please stay safe.

I was diagnosed and operated for breast fibroadenoma at the age of 16. I know it's non-cancerous but it was really shocking to happen at such an early stage. So, I think girls should get some examinations in there teens and 20's as well.

Dear even I also got those fibroids at the age of 16. I didn't know the exact reason that time. After few years I went for scanning, a doctor suggested me for a surgery and another one said surgery is not required as it's not cancerous. I didn't go through surgery that time and never wanted to. After some time I came to know it happened due to hormonal imbalance and irregular menstrual cycle which I had from the beginning. For every problem we need to find and treat the root cause first.

You have a higher risk for breast cancer if you've had an abortion, 1st pregnancy with 1st trimester miscarriage, low vitamin D levels, poor diet, insulin resistance, too much stress & inflammation, use of foods with aspartame.

It is a very painful process. I have also seen some theories that claim mammograms actually increase the chances of breast cancer due to high pressure causes the damage in cells.
