The DualShock 4 (CUH-ZCT1) is the PlayStation 4's controller. It has several new features from DualShock 3. One new feature is a built-in two-point capacitive touch pad on the front of the controller, which can be clicked.[35] This allows the touch pad to represent multiple buttons, as demonstrated in the PS4 version of Elite Dangerous in which the four corners of the touch pad can be mapped to a separate clickable actions.[36] The controller supports motion detection via a three-axis gyroscope and three-axis accelerometer and vibration.[35] It includes a non-removable,[37] rechargeable 3.7 V, 1000 mAh lithium-ion battery, which can be charged while the system is in rest mode. It weighs 210 g (7.4 oz) and has dimensions of 162 mm × 52 mm × 98 mm (6.4 in × 2.0 in × 3.9 in).[37]
The front of the controller features a light bar containing three LEDs that, when lit in conjunction, cause the light bar to glow a variety of colors. Developed for PlayStation VR,[38] it can be used to identify players by matching the colors of the characters they control in a game, or to provide enhanced feedback or immersion by changing patterns or colors in reaction to gameplay.[39][40] An early example of this is displayed in the game Grand Theft Auto V; the light bar will flash red and blue when the player is wanted by the police, simulating the flashing lights of a police car. The light bar is also used in conjunction with the PlayStation Camera to judge the positions and movements of multiple players.[39]
The controller features several input and output connectors: a stereo headset jack (3.5 mm CTIA TRRS connector), a micro-USB port, and an extension port.[35] It can be charged using the console, using a dedicated charging station, or via microUSB using a standalone charger.[35] It also includes a mono speaker, like the Wii Remote, and is the second major controller in video game history to have such feature.[35]
The DualShock 4 features the following buttons: PS button, SHARE button, OPTIONS button, directional buttons, action buttons (triangle, circle, cross,[41] square), shoulder buttons (R1/L1), triggers (R2/L2), analog stick click buttons (L3/R3), and a touch pad click button.[35] These mark several changes from the DualShock 3 and other previous PlayStation controllers. The START and SELECT buttons have been merged into a single OPTIONS button.[35][37] A dedicated SHARE button allows players to upload screenshots and videos from their gameplay experiences.[35] The joysticks and triggers have been redesigned based on developer input,[35] with the ridged surface of the joysticks now featuring an outer ring surrounding the convex dome caps. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต

My PS4 controller will pair to my pc and will stay connected till I press a button, after about 3 seconds it turns itself off, if anyone knows a fix for that please let me know

1. Do the lights just turn off of does it show as disconnected in the Bluetooth window where the controller is listed? Does it still happen if a game is going?
2. I had a sort of similar issue and found I had to move the Bluetooth USB closer to the controller and used an extension cable to do it.
If you're using windows 11, you have to use it plugged in, windows 11 is bugged and won't let it connect
in my acer computer ,when in the power settings there is no usb setting(my windows is 11) what can i do now?

I recently bought a controller and turns out the issue is that 2 of my 3 old cables dont work. make sure your controller lights up when connected to charge. as a non playstation player I didnt know it was supposed to light up. thanks for the help mister loving tech life
I'm trying to connect my PS4 controller to my laptop through Bluetooth, but when it connects, the bar doesn't light up but it still plays for about 5 mins before not working. and then when I try to reconnect, it won't connect automatically so I have to remove the controller and re pair it.
is there a way to fix the issue so it stays connected and the light stays on so i know it definitely works?

@@senpaispoilmeyea man butt mine was different yesterday it was working perfectly now today it connects and the light just turns off and the controller doesn’t do anything . Almost like as soon as it connects it disconnects
u use DS4windows software for it?
if yes? u need instal some feauture too ( in ds4 windows site told u about it )

I tried the first fix did not work so I tried it on my phone to make sure it was okay the controller was fine, so I reset the controller and tried to pair it again on my pc and it worked just fine.
hi...im having some problems with a ps4 controller...the controller have 100% battery but turns off after some seconds even with cable conected to the ps4...already tried to conect to the phone and pc, always turns off after a few seconds...any suggestion? thank you

try hard resetting the controller
Sometimes the lights go out but they are still connected. When you are playing a game they stay connected.
One issue I had that cause a similar issue to yours too was the Bluetooth USB was a little to far away and solved it by connecting it to the front of the PC so it was closer.
@@LovingTechLifehi. Even with usb cable happens the same. Light on for a few seconds and turns off the controller completely
My ps5 controller still disconnects randomly. My keyboard will turnoff then my controller. Then after about 30 secs - 1 min it will turn back on. I use the USB-C port on my motherboard
I have a new controller that pairs and connects with my phone but not my pc, when attempting to initiate pairing the pc seemingly shuts the controller off

Yeah same here it connects perfectly fine to my phone but it refuses to connect to my pc I tried everything on many different videos and tutorials but nothing seems to work.
@@socketsct my issue was resolved by familiarizing myself with the pairing of the controller, one way allowed my phone to pair but not as a controller rather as a speaker, the other was the proper controller pairing
All my controllers started wigging out recently. I turn them on the pairing window opens up and you click to pair and then its successful then instantly disconnects. It feels like a driver issue for me.
most likely your port maybe use air duster and clean it out

No try on your phone and see if it works mine doesn’t so it has to be controller it’s fully charged aswell
Unfortunately mine still isn’t working it’s a ps5 controller connected to my pc via usb but the light on the controller keeps going orange and turning of and then turning back on and it’s quite annoying when playing games online.
It’s most likely your usb port/usb is broken try Bluetooth and see if it works

It was just not charged? Why does it even turn on and try to pair if it has no power? Why did it stay connected to my actual PS4 for like a minute? Is the battery threshold for turning itself off different when using bluetooth for some unfathomable reason?

ofc my ps4 controller is FAKE
my original ps4 controller was ok
but this FAKE one get dc Randomly. sometimes less than 10 20 min
sometimes work 1 hour no problelm
