This is a real impressive feature set for a base model at this price. At least one of the dominant brands finally seems to be recognizing and reacting to the ever growing threat presented by the chinese manufacturers in this segment.

Basically, the only advantage of corolla over the yaris is the size, that's it. Tech, safety, wheel size and other features can be found on yaris V and not on corolla G(lowest variant).
But what about the engine of Corolla Cross G compared to the Yaris Cross V? If my memory serves me right, 140hp is significant vs 106hp 🤔
corolla cross sits on a much better TNGA platform while yaris cross sits on DnGA platform. if u care more about the unnecessary tech than better engine ang driving dynmucs then go for yaris v

Hi @Jaywalkur. A unit was available for me, and I need to purchase it this week due to demands. I would like your opinion on this car. I will be purchasing the Yaris Cross V variant. I like this better than the HEV due to its power (I plan to take this to provinces). Have I made a good choice?
100hp for province use is lacking severe power
Hi the v variant isnt exactly more poweful than the HEV. Still the Yaris cross V offers pretty good value for the money. The advantages of the HEV are better fuel economy and coding exemption but if you'd rather save 300k than get those benefits then the yaris cross v is not a bad choice. When you said sir jejemon and practicality in one sentence, it's the same in theory. What does jejemon mean? Can't afford? No knowledge? The more power, the more expensive most of the time. I don't know any jejemon whose interested in the power numbers. I have the Civic RS, yeah I'm curious about the power sometimes but I'm not jejemon 😉
