    I miss riding and to be quite honest it makes me a little depressed.... your videos always get me back on bikesales and the like with a smile when they pop up on my feed. It always makes me miss my FXDC Dyna wide glide with the evo motor.. I have been eyeing off something like a street bob. There is one for sale low ks Saddleman 2up seat, orange screaming Eagle leads, Arlen Ness big sucker filter, 55mm S&S manifold , Woods WM8-22XE camshaft , screaming Eagle lifters , S&S adjustable pushrods, Freedom pipes , Dyno tuned by Power house Dyno on the GC all producing 116hp and 126 ft-lbs which I think would get me rocketing along. The misses always comes out when she hears the intro of your video and pulls that face at me haha.

    • @danr919
      @danr919 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      They won’t fit because the cam journal is smaller on pre 07 models which is unfortunate. You should look at a SE 204 cam for torque that will fit your combo. I also have a 96ci twin cam running a Se204 and I’m getting 102 foot pound torque just bolt in with pipes and filter

      @danr919 ....thanks for the input. The motor was an 88" that the previous owner did the 95" big bore kit, if u wanna call it a big bore kit for what today's motors are, back in 04 that was big I guess... and it has the fueling 525 cams in it now, it definitely runs pretty good for having a 4" stroke stock crank and stock heads. I'm unsure if I'm gonna drop money on building it to a 107 or put the money down on a 24 road king with the m8 114.

    I have the same bike will it be better on fuel? After the work ?

    • @MasterTechMiller
      @MasterTechMiller  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @ethandale22 The fuel economy won't change much at all if it's tuned correctly. You probably wouldn't notice the difference to be honest.
      Keep in mind though, that when you go from stage 1 upto a stage 2 kit, the bike is LOT more fun to ride, so you will find yourself twisting the throttle a little more for thr first few hundred kilometres until you calm down again. This can lead to a false sense of decreased fuel economy.

    That mask should help with the particulates and VOCs, but only if it's kept clean and the filter is fresh. Since it isn't being stored in a ziploc we can assume that it isn't clean, and I'll bet that the filter isn't changed after each exposure. Even if the mask is treated correctly there isn't enough material in the filter to absorb any significant quantity of SOx, NOx and COx, so don't expect it to protect against incidental carbon monoxide poisoning.

    • @MasterTechMiller
      @MasterTechMiller  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do have replacement filter elements for it that I replace but not after each exposure. I didn't know they should be replaced after each session, nor that it should be kept in a sealed bag. Makes perfect sense though now I'm thinking about it.
      Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

    • @hizacaine
      @hizacaine 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@MasterTechMiller You just need to realize that a filter, whether it's activated charcoal or something else only has enough molecular touch points to bind a little bit of vapor, and once filled they won't remove anymore. The best thing to do is a massive amount of ventilation, none of this dust or gas is healthy and if you can smell it you're getting dosed. There isn't any upside to a cough, forgetfulness, a damaged liver or a 'little headache'. Motorcycles are hazardous enough and I won't be able to learn from you if you aren't able to teach.

    • @MasterTechMiller
      @MasterTechMiller  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @hizacaine Cheers for the heads up mate. There is a huge 2 foot diameter extraction fan above & behind the motorcycle that moves around 3500cfm of air through the Dyno cell. It pulls fresh air in through the front of the cell then up & out through the roof.

    Impressive high rpm gains but 80% of your riding is where there are no real world gains. HP cams are a waste of time in these things unless you are above 4000rpm most of the time which you aint. By far the best bang for your money is in a low-mid range cam on these engines. IMO

      @@midas61 Its a balance because there is only so much you can put through the back tyre before your ripping skids anyways. I like the 485 pulling in the upper revs because I've got full traction when it's in its stride meaning it lifts the front happily and gives seat of the pants excitement.
