    Manual primary chain tensioner yes 👍
    Darkhorse compensator sproket ?
    Ehhhh.. I hear they’re noisy af and seen a lot of post of them breaking and work best with a balanced crank.
    Man.. that 483 putting in work EVERYWHERE worldwide
    I redid my 124
    Kicked it down to 11:1 to run the 480MT
    did the SS crank
    64mm induction
    SE cam chest (wayyyy less out that a1 dipstick breather …. That 2020 OEM pump isn’t adequate for big cube motors it seems.
    480MT with a balanced crank .. insane smooth.
    It does run out of puff at like 5200ish tho.
    Wish I had a bit more up top but my meat and potatoes area is 3-5k.. only rode up high from getting used to having that 482 cam on there before.
    Overall tho.. super happy. Great package
    Torque curve is a damn torque tabletop
    145tq from 2500-5000 where it falls off some and hp start to take over for a couple hundred rpm.. but gotta shift there
    Bike made 130hp peaked at 5200
    145tq peak 4k.. but it’s like just a asshair under 145 from 2500.
    I didn’t listen to my guy when I went with the 482 and was hell bent on not doing a 2-1.
    Lesson learned .. listen to your builder and tuner.

    I have a question, when doing the cam on 2024 Road Glide, would it ideal to replace the oil pump and cam plate with a better after market product.

  • @robertfagan8833

    Great video Tommy. Thank you just quick question. Is it as reliable as a thunder max

    • @MasterTechMiller
      @MasterTechMiller  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @robertfagan8833 Absolutely! If not more reliable if I'm concerned.
      I have pulled out & replaced over 15 Thundermax units over the years.
      If you compare that to how many OEM Ecm's I've had to replace at only around 5 or 6 in the same time frame, I'd say Thundermax are unreliable.
      This ECU is new to the market but has over 15 years of R&D in the automotive tuning scene so I'm optimistic

    Really enjoying your content. I'm waiting for delivery of 114" M8 Street Bob. Looking at CR485 cam kit. Slip on cans, still deciding on brand. K&N filter in stock airbox. What is a good tuner that won't break the bank? I have had Japanese bikes for years and i always get the ECU flashed.

      Hey mate. Thanks for watching.
      What country are you in?
      If you're in Australia, go for the Direct Link USB key from Technoresearch for your tuning device.
      The CR485 is recommended to have the upgraded intake manifold & and 6.2 gps injectors. Given your going to keep the exhaust system relatively stock with just some slip on's you won't be able to achieve the maximum potential of the CR485 & you'll be able to get away with running the stock intake & injectors.
      That being said, I would consider either the CR480 or the CR483. The 480 will provide a much better low to mid range hit over the 485 & the 483 will provide a better mid range than the other 2.

    would dual pipe setup be good or is going 2-1 better route to take

    • @MasterTechMiller
      @MasterTechMiller  หลายเดือนก่อน

      2-1 is a better performance choice for sure. The OEM Headers with a decent set of slip in mufflers like Khrome Werks is another great option if you prefer that look

    • @CodyMcDonald89
      @CodyMcDonald89 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @ I was 2-1 exhaust last bike build and I thought on longer rides it was a little annoying above 70+ mph. So I have rinehart DBX45 slip ons and just scored on a rinehart dual slim for $300 yesterday that I’m going to install today to get rid of the cat on bike. My question is do I need to purchase inserts on the slip ons to regain back pressure. Fuel moto company told me I would need to do that and would be a great exhaust system to support 140hp or so

    Hi tommy great results impressive start on the new bikes , im guessing numbers are at your altitude too so even bigger gains for those of us at sea level.
    My CR483 arrived this week along with the APE 5/60mm inlet , i managed to get the one but last set of the 6.2 shotgun injectors from Cyclerama too. more associated parts on order from APE comp ramp lifters etc your video on this was really helpful .
    My UK Fast Johnnie road glide ST came with SE Street cannons (wasnt aware of it ) so got a set of Khromewerks 4.5 in mufflers to replace what i thought would be stock , any recommendations for a set of aftermarket Headers for this set up .
    going down the performance bagger route so trying to shed pounds off bike so in terms of weight do you know which is lighter The OG Heavy breather that bike came with/ Extreme ventilator /Extreme wedge
    any help appreciated .
    look forward to next one all the best

      The CR 483 works great with the Factory headers & a good set of slip ons. You mentioned you have Khrome Werks. They are GREAT!
      Remove the CAT from the headers & have it Tuned by a reputable Tuner.
      Not sure on any weight differences between those filters. It wouldn't be much difference at all I would say.
