  • If your brakes make a metal squealing sound as you brake, then it's time to change out your brake pads and most likely the rotors as well if they're damaged. I also re-lubed the caliper guide pins so they wear our the pads more evenly.

if you screw some bolts into the 2 holes you see on the disc inside the lug bolts, you won't have to use a hammer to take them off and risk damaging other parts. Very nice video BTW. Thank you for the info

I have not read all of the comments, but I have to point out you're using the wheel under the car for what the Jack stand is for... Use a coat hanger to suspend the caliper from the sping, instead of a jack stand...working under or near a vehicle without jack stands WHEN YOU HAVE THEM is not advisable...not wanting to be critical, just hoping to point out a safety thing....it only takes a moment to set them in place for safety, as it only takes a moment to experience something painfully tragic if you don't and the vehicle becomes unstable and slips off ther jack...

Is your RX made in Japan or Canada? Found that there's a difference in purchasing front rotors depending where is was made. Thinking of ordering this kit. Thanks

    "good shape"
    Looks normal.
What matters is the thickness of the braking surface, which from the video looks okay. I'd think there'd still be places around that machine rotors (oreillys used to, napa?, and independent shops).
