these are my favorite! I work as a nurse and have very little time between 12 hour shifts, practicing these short yin yoga sessions helps me wake up, move my body, and meditate! Thank you :)
Hello I am so glad I found your channel. I had been following some of the other well known yoga TH-camrs but I love your slow thoughtful poses the best. I appreciate all the time you take to develop short but well rounded programmes that for me have the right balance of movement, relaxation and breath. Best wishes x
I'm happy I found your channel. I've been struggling with inner thigh & hip pain since 2016. I've seen several physical therapist, chiropractors & orthopedic doctors yet not much changed. But since I have been doing your mobility & flexibility videos on a daily basics the change is amazing. Thank you 💛
Day 3 Lower Body Yoga ✔️ My legs are sore. I guess that’s a good thing! Pleasantly surprised that I could do all the poses for the 3 day program! Thanks Joëlle 🙏🏼
Omg this is the BEST stiffness release yoga everrrr. I have to sit for more than 12 hours my legs get so effing stiff. After trying so many other yoqa videos this turned out to be the best. My legs feel soooo light I don't even feel them they are so light now.
I just got back from a week of travel where I averaged 16k of walking a day! From my morning run, to walking the exhibition floor and all the running around the metro stations! This practice came in really handy! I also made sure to check your channel today and true enough, you've hit 69K!!! Congrats Joelle!! Looking forward to the next k!! Well done and congrats!
Wow, that's quite the daily distance, well done! Glad you took a moment to stretch your legs out after getting home, sounds like it was well deserved 😉
I had a three hour softball camp we did a lot of relays and then I had lacrosse practice in a few hours later for almost 2 hours and we did nonstop. Fast relays for the last practice and it hurts to go on a deep squat. This helps so much thank you.
I haven’t been visiting your TH-cam channel as regularly since I started your 4 Week Hip Pain Program. I’m glad I checked today, otherwise I would’ve missed your black jack
Sorry, accidentally touched the send button! By blackjack, I meant 21!! Congrats on hitting 21k! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Keep up the good work! I’m enjoying the hip program with no ads 😎
Omg I did yesterday for the first time... oh man all my muscles are tight... I have chronic leg pain level 9-10... when that last pose came up I could not do it without holding on to my legs 😢... goal is to be able to do this session correctly with no pain. Im taking it slow, I did it today after a very slow walk, again painful but much better. Today all day my pain was about a 7-8 level which I can tolerate.
Joelle, I did all three of the lower body options on day three (well, I tried 😉). I'm always discouraged by Yoga, but I find your shorter focus on individual body issues refreshing. Love and light to you and your work!
is it fairly typical to have a bit of pain in the inner knee during that first pose? i am a little knock-kneed so i am unsure if it's just a matter of my anatomy or if a little discomfort is typical there at first. obviously, i backed out a bit this time around, but i am just curious if it's something i may be able to improve upon over time or if that pose is just not right for my body in particular.
That's a great question Victoria! The answer to how we will feel in a certain pose will indeed vary from person to person depending on anatomy, how we stand/sit/move, how often we do certain stretches, etc. That said, I would certainly not say that any pain is "normal" in any pose, ever. So if it's actual pain (rather than just intensity in a stretch), that's a good sign we either need to back off until the point where we don't feel pain (which could for example involve coming into a different angle, or placing a pillow or two under the areas bothering you), or this may just not be a stretch that's appropriate for your body at this point. I'm really glad to hear you listened to yourself and backed off, well done! If it is one you'd like to work on, perhaps try the pillow option next time and see if that makes a difference. Let me know how you get on!

The first stretch is very deep and burning, but I enjoy it. Hopefully it will get easier for me next time.
Great job Dian! It's intense for sure, but over time the body starts to get used to new things ;-)
