    Thanks for the roundup. I hadn't really realized that I needed to be more consistent using these techniques. I had some progress a few months back and then I was inconsistent and the pain came back.

    Great video and it is helping people with the deep experience that resonates too. Could you consider making a video where you could suggest which mind set practices and what to do when everything is still quite hard (you mentioned somatic tracking might be too much then), the hardest level? Then when someone's having the flare up they could just click that video, that would be addressing that level directly and speaking/guiding them thru it. Best wishes, blessings.

    I just found your channel and I am binging! Could I please request a video on GI symptoms? That's been the main thing I deal with and I've been doing brain retraining, somatic work, breathwork, etc for a few months now and while it helps the emotional side of things, I'm not seeing a change with physical symptoms. Would love to hear more on how you approach GI manifestations of this!

    Can neuropathic cause extreme muscle tension?

    • @painpsychotherapy
      @painpsychotherapy  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes it is possible for intense muscle tension to be Neuroplastic.

    • @mjoachim9554

      Thanks for that. I’ve been dealing with such intense shoulder neck pain. It worried me because I’m a hairstylist for many years and i thought I was looking at the end of my career. It started with a weakness in my thumb about six months ago. Then slowly the intense muscle tension became unbearable. I’m so afraid to work. I’ve seen so many therapists and my doctor is sending me for an mri to rule out a pinched nerve.
      But it’s all I can think about. Finally one of my Pilates therapists suggested this could be neuroplastic. I looked it up and discovered your channel. It makes sooo much sense.

    Thank you , Tanner. This is so helpful! Would you consider making another video about healing from conditioned responses. I have come so far with healing from chronic chest pain which developed after breast cancer treatment. But I still can hardly stand to wear a bra. The tightness around my ribcage sets off feelings of anxiety and so far I can’t figure out how to get used to it. I wear one every day all day long but I can’t seem to get comfortable with one on.

    • @EAK1993

      @carolebarton776 Have you tried wearing a soft bralette instead of a traditional bra? I gave up underwire ages ago and have been much more comfortable.

    • @carolebarton776
      @carolebarton776 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@EAK1993 Yes. I wear very soft loose bras with at least one extender, sometimes two. But the sensation of the bra rubbing on my chest sets off lots of feelings like cramping which I am sure are caused by my scared brain. I just can’t seem to get past this. I try to use lots of messages of safety.

    Great reminders. It really helps to hear these these main points of the process. One thing you mentioned was really needed to process our emotions. As you rightly pointed out many of us are in the position we are in primarily because we didn't adequately process our emotions.
    So I was hoping you might elaborate on how to properly process these emotions. Maybe give a few different methods and examples. I understand the importance of processing emotions but not very sure of the most effective ways to do this.

    Hello, thank you so much for the contents. I have had chronic foot pain. It is electricity and sharp and really hurting my foot. Many drs, Orthopedic, Blood circulation dr. Neurology Dr. told me they could not find anything wrong. I started to think it is due to neuroplastic pain and started to read books and videos from Dr. Sino, Dr. Schubner, and Allan Gordon. I also started to practice technics from your video about three weeks ago. I also take pain killer medication at the same time and it started to reduce pain. I want to know your opinion about my status.. It has been two weeks since I started to practice your excerciese, and breething technichs, Somatics practice, every day. This past week I felt like I was not feeling pain and pain reduced significantly, and then today, suddenly the pain came back to the degree of maximum level. I immediately followed your video how to deal with "flare" attack... to give my nerveous system a message of safety. All day today, it has been really hurting me. I am wondering, what to think about my sudden reduction of pain past week, and sudden worsening /reappearling of more pain today all day. I thought of any reasons behind, I can not think of any negative events happened today, except I did excesise of Dr. Schubner's meditaion of trying to imagining 3 events in the past which had made me very upset.. (and tears came down)... How would you judge my situation now..? May I say that I am making progress, or if it is not normal?? I want to understand it. Thank you so much for your kind response

    It’s really helpful that you have gone through this, Tanner. I have come across a lot of professionals working with chronic pain, chronic dizziness, chronic fatigue, who haven’t experienced symptoms or the specific neurological diagnosis. But it is their life work. So it is frustrating to explain to them nuances.

    Thank you for this information. What helps for me is hot water and in the summer I use hot and cold showers. I also use spiritual techniques such emagining that water heals me. I have been doing a lot of things even changed my diet to a more vegetarian one. Although I have gained more range of motion, I feel a great amount of pain when I do regular activities such as doing lundry, walk 3-4 blocks, even taking my dogs to the dog park across the street. I need to take at least 2-3 days to self regulate from the chronic pain. I refused to believe that I have chronic pain and I have done everything in my power to get better. I think I also need to come into terms with having chronic pain. I have been watching videos about chronic pain and bought books about chronic pain. And it helps me see that there are people that understand me.I have felt so frustrated with the doctors.
