My LaunchBox/BigBox loads straight to the PS3 game so I'm sure you can probably get it to work with Hyperspin. I currently have probably 30 or so playable PS3 games... really cool to follow the progress on PS3 and Switch emulation.

Well, I got an idea for you. Buy the atgames legends ultimate arcade for $599 at walmart's website, and purchase a game collection from ebay with 7k games to play on the machine. It is the same as the megacade. And you will save over $5,000 :)) The screen is 24" with nice speakers. Do it. I did! You won't regret it.
Plus atgames arcade has wi-fi, you can also purchase a light gun and pinball buttons for the complete fun. I ordered that myself, you should do it! Good luck.

You can make RPCS3 (PS3) emulator auto launch from hyperspin by adding it into Rocket Launcher. Also within the emulator you can use your arcade controls but you'd have to configure the buttons in the emulator. So when you lanuched RCPS3 on the top you'll see a tab for Configure and then just follow directions. If you need help let me know. I enjoy the vids dude.
40:40 Machinarium, great game! I got stuck so bad on it. Wicked art style also. Definitely play with a friend. An extra head always helps for these tricky puzzle games.
Yeah this game is pretty addictive. Just the thrill of trying to figure out what you have to do to proceed to the next level. Definitely two heads are better than one when playing this one.

PS3 was the best console for the modern era had a very slow start , but once it got in gear there was no stopping it , honestly there was no need for a ps4 the ps3 could have outlast till we all had the new era of the ps4 as we are waiting for the ps5 if that makes any sense.
You're right about the PS3 having a rough start. But they did eventually catch up to Microsoft. But in my opinion, the PS3 online was trash compared to Xbox 360. Xbox Live just seemed way more thought out and user friendly. But I'm sure the PS5 will be great.
seems like it be a way cheaper option to just copy the drives someone that has one cuz it's a big pain in the ass to download all that stuff and get it working right on ur setup but I'm not going to pay several thousand dollars for some other massive set-up... But also it seems like if you did buy a mega arcade set up you'd be able to copy the hard drives, sell them, and make some of your money back....

For me, my 8TB was already running windows 10. But I wanted that extra space for adding games in the future. Yes, all I had to do was pop in the new hard drive and make sure that my BD Rom was reading the E drive & 10TB was reading the F drive. The 10TB is the same as the 8TB but with more space. Also, it allows you to fit the entire PS2 library of games on there (because of the space). With the 8TB & PS2 games, some files will be missing because you simply don't have the space. I didn't have to remap any controls or anything. In your case since your machine is about 4 years old, the hyperspin wheel now probably looks way different than yours. Not sure if you're familiar with @scantron5k channel. But his machine is about two years old and he was running an older version on his machine. In his video, he post the instructions and what he had to do to update his machine. I think you'd probably have to do something more along the lines of what he did in his video to upgrade being that your machine is older. But they're simple instructions. Check his video out here th-cam.com/video/-jbxAdU4YxQ/w-d-xo.html But all in all, it's pretty easy to upgrade. Is it worth it, I'd say most definitely. Especially when you'll be operating on a more updated hard drive as well as windows platform. I'll keep in mind in a future vid to show the hyperspin wheel. And yeah they're newer games on there as well like NBA 2K20, Madden 20, Hydro Thunder Hurricane just to name a few. But check out @scantron5k video. You'll see what I'm talking about.

I just updated my computer as well from EHA and I'm waiting on the components to come in, but for some reason that game always froze when I tried to play it. It would start fine and then freeze right when it's time for the gameplay. Thanks in advance!
I just tried Resistance Retribution on PSP and it worked just fine. I didn't have any issues loading it or anything. Played it with 360 controller with zero problems.

Everybody has their price. Some say it's too much while others say it's fairly priced. I say if it's within your budget, go ahead and purchase. If not, then you could always try building one yourself (which may be cheaper) or try other companies who may sell arcades. But if you were to see this in person, you'd love it bro. Trust me!

Most of the games I've played work correctly. Mind you, I haven't played every last single game on this machine. I mean there's literally thousands of games. But majority of the console/arcade games I've played to include Killer Instinct works.
The quality of the machine feels like you have something of high quality. The buttons/joysticks don't feel cheap. The artwork on the cab looks even better in person. I don't think pics & videos do it justice. Really awesome machine overall. In my opinion.
A min and 30sec into it. That Handy Dandy knife didn't appear that "Handy Dandy".. Nice Caddy of an arcade regardless. But is 10TB necessary? Not really, but man it purrs!

reposting my ??? -awesome video since I'm looking to upgrade in the near future as well, so here's my question- once you popped in the new harddrive of ROMS is that all you mostly had to do? did you have to do any remapping of controls or are they stored somewhere prior to installing the new drive and just ready to go without updating? if its this easy its a no brainer for me to upgrade when I have the time- I'd like to see the new menu wheel slower - it looks way more user friendly and easier to find things now that they are consolidated a bit better in hyperspin? my extreme machine is like a 6 TB and about 4 years old now I believe

You can make RPCS3 (PS3) emulator auto launch from hyperspin by adding it into Rocket Launcher. Also within the emulator you can use your arcade controls but you'd have to configure the buttons in the emulator. So when you lanuched RCPS3 on the top you'll see a tab for Configure and then just follow directions. If you need help let me know. I enjoy the vids dude.

Yeah this game is pretty addictive. Just the thrill of trying to figure out what you have to do to proceed to the next level. Definitely two heads are better than one when playing this one.

PS3 was the best console for the modern era had a very slow start , but once it got in gear there was no stopping it , honestly there was no need for a ps4 the ps3 could have outlast till we all had the new era of the ps4 as we are waiting for the ps5 if that makes any sense.
You're right about the PS3 having a rough start. But they did eventually catch up to Microsoft. But in my opinion, the PS3 online was trash compared to Xbox 360. Xbox Live just seemed way more thought out and user friendly. But I'm sure the PS5 will be great.
seems like it be a way cheaper option to just copy the drives someone that has one cuz it's a big pain in the ass to download all that stuff and get it working right on ur setup but I'm not going to pay several thousand dollars for some other massive set-up... But also it seems like if you did buy a mega arcade set up you'd be able to copy the hard drives, sell them, and make some of your money back....
🤔 just a thought cuz I'd kinda want something like this and anyone that sees this if they liked to show me id be willing to try to work something out and handle it with PayPal....!!!

For me, my 8TB was already running windows 10. But I wanted that extra space for adding games in the future. Yes, all I had to do was pop in the new hard drive and make sure that my BD Rom was reading the E drive & 10TB was reading the F drive. The 10TB is the same as the 8TB but with more space. Also, it allows you to fit the entire PS2 library of games on there (because of the space). With the 8TB & PS2 games, some files will be missing because you simply don't have the space.
I didn't have to remap any controls or anything. In your case since your machine is about 4 years old, the hyperspin wheel now probably looks way different than yours. Not sure if you're familiar with @scantron5k channel. But his machine is about two years old and he was running an older version on his machine.
In his video, he post the instructions and what he had to do to update his machine. I think you'd probably have to do something more along the lines of what he did in his video to upgrade being that your machine is older. But they're simple instructions. But all in all, it's pretty easy to upgrade. Is it worth it, I'd say most definitely. Especially when you'll be operating on a more updated hard drive as well as windows platform. I'll keep in mind in a future vid to show the hyperspin wheel. And yeah they're newer games on there as well like NBA 2K20, Madden 20, Hydro Thunder Hurricane just to name a few. But check out @scantron5k video. You'll see what I'm talking about.

You showld try "Tehkan World Cup" (from the arcades) with the trackball. That was the original idea for the game, but it was to hard to play that way.

I just updated my computer as well from EHA and I'm waiting on the components to come in, but for some reason that game always froze when I tried to play it. I just tried Resistance Retribution on PSP and it worked just fine. I didn't have any issues loading it or anything. Played it with 360 controller with zero problems.

Everybody has their price. Some say it's too much while others say it's fairly priced. I say if it's within your budget, go ahead and purchase. If not, then you could always try building one yourself (which may be cheaper) or try other companies who may sell arcades. But if you were to see this in person, you'd love it bro. Trust me!

Most of the games I've played work correctly. Mind you, I haven't played every last single game on this machine. I mean there's literally thousands of games. But majority of the console/arcade games I've played to include Killer Instinct works.

The quality of the machine feels like you have something of high quality. The buttons/joysticks don't feel cheap. The artwork on the cab looks even better in person. I don't think pics & videos do it justice. Really awesome machine overall. In my opinion.
