You are THE MAN! I got my son’s bike figured out thanks to you! Ignition coil wasn’t bad, but the connections were rusted so they just needed to be cleaned and tightened (ttr50)
Just drove way too far and picked up a 04 TTR225 no spark, thanks for making it look so easy, wish I had watched your video first. probley be fixed ! I was foolishly turned off by the length of the video,
Hey, just wanted to thank you for making this! Troubleshooting the same bike right now. I couldn’t find the manual and need to get one, but your video helped me with the resistances and all that, so it was very much appreciated.
Thank you for this detailed video, even this long I watched every second. Very helpful and with a lot valuable information. Appreciate the effort you put in, thanks!
hey man, i have pretty recently bought a yamaha tt225, and there might be some missing parts, would you be able to tell me on the left side with the oil pan what is in the black case to the right of the pan. it should have one of the plastics screwed to it.
I found that to be odd as well.. I tested the new stator after I installed it to see if the new one would read differently but it was the same. No reading on the new one either 🤷♂️ Thanks for watching.
So my 04 ttr225 has oil in the stator housing, is that normal? Is it a wet stator? I noticed no oil came out when you pulled the cover, but you made sure to put a new cover gasket on to insure it would not leak?
Was gonna ask the same question as I had a pretty good amount of oil come out when I removed the stator cover. Does this oil need to be replaced? do I just fill the amount that came out back in through the oil plug? Thank you
@@tannergray28 I replaced the stator threw her back together and changed the oil she’s been happy ever since 🦾 don’t sweat it as long as the oil is properly filled you’ll be fine

does the meter have to make noise or could it be like a bad ground?
Does anyone know what ohm setting to use on the multimeter?
Hit that like button people!
Thank you. I wish they would.
But its SO HARD to click 👍
Well done! Excellent instruction. Thanks!!!!!
Also my 04 ttr225 has no readings in the yellow wire ground and no spark, but my 03 ttr225 also no reading on the yellow ground, and it runs?

Where did you buy the stator from. I'm seeing a lot of junk on Amazon

Completely normal to have a small amount of oil behind the stator cover.
Was gonna ask the same question as I had a pretty good amount of oil come out when I removed the stator cover. Does this oil need to be replaced? do I just fill the amount that came out back in through the oil plug? Thank you
