Awesome mate... I was wondering if my stator was stuck and did not want to force it but you have confirmed my suspicion that the O ring is holding it and you just need a little muscle / leverage to get it out. Thanks for the video it was a big help.

Dang it man, I pressure washed my son's 110cc pit bike and now I have very little to no spark. Right now there's no spark, but every once in a while itll start, but won't run for long. It has a brand new carb, so the carb isn't the issue. I just don't know much about the ignition system on a small engine. Basically, I don't know how to diagnose the lack of spark. His bike doesn't have a stator cover, but that's never been an issue before. I have pressure washed it before, but I've never had an issue with it not having spark before.
you may have water in one of the connections and it's earthing the spark ??? Also try disconnecting the black and white wire coming from the cdi as this is the cut-out wire if it's earthed
I have the same stator but when we got this thing used I don’t remember seeing the pick up. I have 4 wires coming from the stator, black is ground I suppose brown and a grey coming from left copper coil and and white from the right. Any ideal what I may be working with?

Hey Motorcycle fixer i have a problem when i changed the stator plate with the new o-ring.I've put that stator in with the o-ring not pinched. And i have a oil leak around the bottom of the plate.Any tips?
There is a small oring behind each screw and the large one around the outside of the stator plate If both orings are in place behind the screws then the outer oring could be damaged. If all of this is OK then it could be that the casing has a nick or crack in it
@@motorcyclefixer But i do remember putting those little o-rings in the screw holes in my opinion i think its the crank shaft rubber seal, i have used metal epoxy to fill the lower oil leak gap and there are now no leaks. But when i also checked the engine and the stator hausing there were no cracks or markings.

Can you tell me what is on the outside of the flywheel that triggers the trigger coil? Is it a magnet, or something else? ( I'm using the trigger and cdi on a different project) THANKS

If using the trigger and cdi on something else you need to make sure of the timing of the pulse in relation to the crank position to ensure it fires correctly
