But I have been promised the first 2.0 Hybrid GR or Premier edition to review when they get a demo, unfortunately at the moment they only have this 1.8 Hybrid Design.
On the Yaris, the auto lights don't come on until you move the gear selector, so if this C-HR is the same you can sit with, say, the radio or even the hybrid system on but lights off until you select DRIVE or REVERSE. However, the only way to sit with them off once they've been on is to turn off the car, which puts it in PARK, then press START again.
Yeah just wish I had more time, was sat at the lake side got a phone call out the blue saying they have the new C-HR for a few hours… them at SilverLink me few miles off Amble, from turning up at 2:30 15 min video and away at 2:45 to be at my daughters school was insane how I made it happen lol. Cracking car I like it, bet the Excel version will be nice

If I was head of Toyota and one of my designing engineers came up with the idea to remove the rear wiper on an a car with an already bad rear visibility, he could consider himself as fired ! I just don't get why they did this? I am sick and tired of stupid marketing babble that the wind will blow off the rain while driving. First off that never works as advertised and secondly even if it would, it doesn't help in case of a standstill and needing to back up ! This stupid decision kind of ruins it for me ! The car looks great otherwise and if they do these stupid moves, the least I would expect is that the rear glass has a special nano coating so that rain can roll of easy ! I bet it hasn't though ! As for the glass roof which cannot be coverd up but supposed to have a special coating to keep the sun out, which obviously didn' twork in a review i saw made on Ibiza, as the guy was complaining about the heat inside the pre-production car, so why the hell didnt they use electrochromatic glass in the first place ? It darkens with the push of a button ! Even if the car had been 500 € more i would have gladly paid that !
I love to hear from like minded people like my self, some people say I’m nit picking…… but why on earth would you remove a rear wiper from a hatch back?? I personally hate owning 4 door cars purely for this reason, well there was a few 4 doors cars made in the 90s 00s that had rear wiper but not many, it’s utter rubbish the water does not run off, even if you add nano coatings, the dirt and dust still sticks to the glass when the water runs off, more so when your driving at slow speeds even the water don’t run off. Like you say people are paid millions to design a car and can’t even manage the basics it’s pathetic, same with the sun roof they can coat it with as much tint as they like, still don’t work as well as a mechanical sun blind, as you say these electronic tint functions are super expensive. Made my day known it’s not just me who gets irritated by these daft moves big manufacturers make and as per get away with it Thanks for watching 👍🏼
I’d love one of them Dan….your dad must be well pleased with it. Having said that there is also a real joy in owning an old well maintained older car…(your Golf) something you don’t have to worry about parking or using to run around in…. 👍
Been there done that with my new L200, was scared to use it or park it in bad car parks…..: 100% prefer owning an older car and enjoying using it and loosing very little money in the process. I like the 22 RAV4 hybrid they have, would be tempted my self…. But again sooner keep the money and enjoy the golf 😂

Yes I notice when carrying out MOT on most newer cars this process is required to check the DRL and make them illuminate.

I'm not a fan of modern cars, give me a classic any day, but I like this, I think it's a very good looking car, very different.

That engine is the same as the 2016 older model. 2XR-FXE
It’s not as these are DI (direct injection) with a GPF (particle filter in the exhaust like a diesel )
