When an older guy tells a younger woman she looks “mature,” they’re usually trying to convince them that the age difference doesn’t matter. 🙄

In Japan, being humble is a good thing. Even if they get complimented, they will say, “no,I’m not.”
But in other countries it is usually seen as wanting to hear more compliments, having low self esteem. It’s amazing how different cultures are.☺️

Kon'nichiwa Santi: I have always found Frat Jocks and Cheer leaders to be disrespectful and rude to people. Years, ago when I was in college, I was invited to a frat party and never showed up. In western culture Jocks tend not to be popular, due to offending people with their anti-social behavior. Movies as a whole, tend not to be an accurate perception of the real world and how people view Jocks. Frat members who bully people, as a whole are considered narrastic, obnoxious and rude and tend not to be accepted by western society and have more problems succeeding and fitting into the work environment, including exceling. Western Christian men tend to prefer their women to be dressed modestly and as a western Christian woman, I tend to dress modestly. Coffee is coffee and a two-dollar cup of coffee tastes just as good as a twenty-dollar cup of coffee. Brand discount stores, including resale shops offer great bargain's at rock bottom prices.- thank you, Santi great video, keep up the great work.😀

We need examples Santi san. Maybe with pictures? I don't know what you mean by "girls who live on West side of Tokyo" but I would like to understand! I haven't been there yet.

The guy in Back to the Future is Biff XD

The bully from Back to the Future name was Biff😆. Anyway, I get this subscribers initial confusion by being called *looking* mature as an compliment. Cause back when I was her age if a dude around the same age as me said that I look mature without adding pretty, I'd take it as a negative. Though it's interesting to hear in Japanese it has a different connotation.
Also, what subscriber means by Asian fishing is her not wanting to come across as passing herself as Asian. Or in her case, 🤔perhaps come across as more East Asian looking. Think of it as a modern day Yellow face. Black fishing is the same. It's all kinda strange and nuanced, I recommend looking it up if you have time to kill.

I thinks she is asking if saying she looks mature = OLD.

Quick question. I am worried about marrying Japanese because of two key things I’ve heard. 1. They seem to be sexless after having kids and they start to view you has a sibling, just dad and mom. It becomes weird and there is no intimacy. 2. They seem to divorce you and then take you’re kids and I want to do everything to avoid that. My ideal view of marriage is, having that intimate relationship even with kids around. We both work on growing our business and work on growing together. I would need us to raise our kids TOGETHER. I am from America, a black male and I am 18. I plan on leaving to Japan at 20-21 years old. I want to be ready. Do you know any places in Japan or the type of people I should look for in Japan who matches this description?

If I ever visit Japan, I don't want dress up too cutesy. Just be myself and enjoy my visit and respect the Japanese Culture. I am already chibi cute enough in my 30's.

    Hi Santi,
I guess to improve the quality of your videos by far, it would be better to make an effort not to use the phrases below since they are kind of useless. (Or they deteriorate the quality of your videos.)
    1. I am not joking.
    2. I am serious.
    3. That is who you are (or what it is etc.)
    4. No offense.
    5. fu*king
    6. You know what I mean...
