But I look forward to some new technology coming along. Something like angstrom printing. Or even plasma casting. Maybe some innovations in quantum physics that will allow us to create expanding space-time technologies. Or maybe some way to gather resources with less impact on the environment, non-specific. I've always had hopes for the thorium-based reactors but as long as the green new deal is in play thorium reactors are not going to happen. Even nuclear is going to be curtailed because of ideological reasons. Yes we're in the age of ideology over prosperity and it's going to be a very difficult dark time. I would have said something in the production of food technologies would help us produce more food but it looks like if you allow one person to control a large portion of the farmland without the requirement of being productive, you have once again political ideology over good business sense. A single landowner is required to make the land productive to support himself and in doing so feeds the other people. A single landowner who invests in land with no purpose full requirement to be productive is probably a threat to our society and nation. Also allowing foreign powers to own land and export the product outside the country without restraint should also be considered a threat to our society. Yeah we're going back to having food shortages because of bad political decisions not technology or innovation
