      “This life of yours which you are living is not merely a piece of this entire existence, but in a certain sense the whole; only this whole is not so constituted that it can be surveyed in one single glance. This, as we know, is what the Brahmins express in that sacred, mystic formula which is yet really so simple and so clear; tat tvam asi, this is you. Or, again, in such words as “I am in the east and the west, I am above and below, I am this entire world.”

      Consider the following:
      * There are 3 basic options for life itself, which reduce down to 2, which reduce down to only 1:
      a. We truly have some sort of actual conscious existence throughout all of future eternity.
      b. We die trying to truly have some sort of actual conscious existence throughout all of future eternity.
      c. We die not trying to truly have some sort of actual conscious existence throughout all of future eternity.
      * 3 reduced down to 2:
      a. We truly have some sort of actual conscious existence throughout all of future eternity.
      b. We don't. And note, two out of the three options above, we die.
      * 2 reduced down to 1:
      a. We truly have some sort of actual conscious existence throughout all of future eternity.
      b. We truly don't have any conscious existence throughout all of future eternity.
      (And note, these two appear to be mutually exclusive. Only one way would be really true.)
      And then ask yourself the following questions:
      1. Ask yourself: How exactly do galaxies form? The current narrative is that matter, via gravity, attracts other matter. The electric universe model also includes universal plasma currents.
      2. Ask yourself: How exactly do galaxies become spiral shaped in a cause and effect state of existence? At least one way would be orbital velocity of matter with at least gravity acting upon that matter, would cause a spiral shaped effect. The electric universe model also includes energy input into the galaxy, which spiral towards the galactic center, which then gets thrust out from the center, at about 90 degrees from the input.
      3. Ask yourself: What does that mean for a solar system that exists in a spiral shaped galaxy? Most probably that solar system would be getting pulled toward the galactic gravitational center.
      4. Ask yourself: What does that mean for species that exist on a planet, that exists in a solar system, that exists in a spiral shaped galaxy, in an apparent cause and effect state of existence? Most probably that if those species don't get off of that planet, and out of that solar system, and probably out of that galaxy too, (if it's even actually possible to do for various reasons), then they are all going to die one day from something and go extinct with probably no conscious entities left from that planet to care that they even ever existed at all in the first place, much less whatever they did and or didn't do with their time of existence.
      5. Ask yourself: For those who might make it out of this galaxy, (here again, assuming it could actually be done for various reasons), where to go to next, how long to get there, how to safely land, and then, what's next? Hopefully they didn't land in another spiral shaped galaxy or a galaxy that would become spiral shaped one day, otherwise, they would have to galaxy hop through the universe to stay alive, otherwise, they still die one day from something with no conscious entities being left from the original planet to care they even ever existed at all in the first place, much less that they made it out of their own galaxy. They failed to consciously survive throughout all of future eternity.
      6. Ask yourself: What exactly matters throughout all of future eternity and to whom does it exactly and eternally matter to?
      Either at least one species truly consciously survives throughout all of future eternity somehow, someway, somewhere, in some state of existence, even if only by a continuous succession of ever evolving species, for life itself to have continued meaning and purpose to, OR none do and life itself is all ultimately meaningless in the grandest scheme of things.
      Our true destiny currently appears to be:
      1. We are ALL going to die one day from something.
      2. We are ALL going to forget everything we ever knew and experienced.
      3. We are ALL going to be forgotten one day in future eternity as if we never ever existed at all in the first place.
      Currently:
      Nature is our greatest ally in so far as Nature gives us life and a place to live it, AND Nature is also our greatest enemy that is going to take it all away. (OSICA)
      * (Note: This includes the rich, powerful, and those who believe in the right to life and the sanctity of human life. God does not actually exist and Nature is not biased other than as Nature. Nature does what Nature does in a cause and effect kind of way. Truth is still truth and reality is still reality, regardless of whatever we believe that reality to be. And denying future reality will not make future reality any less real in a cause and effect state of existence.)
      ** Hence also though, legalizing suicide so as to let people leave this life on their own terms if they wish to do so. Many people and species are going to die in the 6th mass extinction event that has already started, at least some, horrible deaths. Many will wish they could die, and all will, eventually. And the 6th mass extinction event will not be the last mass extinction event for this Earth. But if suicide were legal, at least some people would not have the added guilt of breaking societies' law before doing so. Just trying to plan ahead here. Giving people an 'out' if they wish to take it.

    Tom Chi's perspective on "everything in the universe being interconnected" not only allows us to better understand the universe surrounding us, but also transforms our relationships with each other and with the world. Through the stories of the heart, the breath, and the mind, he provides us with a new perspective on how we can shape our lives and society.
    Moreover, I was mesmerized by Chi's stories explaining how iron from supernovas ends up in our blood, how cyanobacteria transformed Earth's atmosphere, and how human creativity expands the "Palette of Being". These stories remind us of how our actions and decisions can influence not just us, but the entire universe.
    After watching this video, I feel more motivated to pay more attention to what is happening in the world and the direction of our lives. Indeed, understanding that everything is interconnected strengthens our ability to build our lives and societies in a more conscious and meaningful way. I encourage everyone who watches this video to discover how this perspective can make a difference in their own lives.

      Basically the scholar here is on to something and has a clever talent. But he sort of jumpcuts a little bit ,which becomes a mild diversion. All force is a function or consequence of subatomic scale charge dynamics, but there is really no cause and effect ,see the norwegian word "vekselvirkninger"("interchangingly relative effects"), it is better to say node networks of energy filaments. The largest scale force connection is not possible to align exactly to regular gravity or magnetism as they work on scales from the molecule to the star cluster scales. Also photonic process is not alignable to the gravity and magnetism scales, and the result of gravity is not alignable exactly to magnetic field reach. A magnetic field has a literally measureable area of lines of force. Gravity is more an effect that is not measureable as a force field, and yet it is there. On the galactic scale you have to account for dark matter, which is basically antiphotonic or dark photonic mirror charge. If you heard about microgravity ,this is just another word for photonic charge. It is the spin state details and vibratorialness of particles and atomic nuclei that generate the fundamental forces. Dark matter is "mirrored" fundamental force.

    • @KibyNykraft
      @KibyNykraft 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      The really difficult question is the one about dark energy. Because something has to generate basic charge field dynamics and photonic stacked spin states, or occur somehow relative to it. The increase of entropy is that atoms move into where there is space for them to move .This leads us to asking why this even can take place.

Amazing that this old culture knew things that science is now discovering and amazingly if you read more comments people with no scientific or Vedic backgrounds discover this with mind expanding substances like ayawaska or mushrooms so this must be deep rooted in all of us

If more people could see and adopt this kind of worldview, realize how interconnected everything is and how much impact the everyday choices and actions of a single individual can have and how it creates a ripple effect, maybe we wouldn't live in such a sick and backwards society.
    As one of the few creatures gifted with consciousness, self awareness, and the potential to do so much in our limited lifespan, we absolutely have an obligation and responsibility to leave this world better than it was.

    I want to add a very special thank you to our presenter, Tom Chi, who so incredibly amassed and crystalized this information about the inextricable connection between science and spirituality in order to present it to us in this superb TedTalk. You must certainly have created the possibility of a positive impact on this planet, indeed, likely throughout the many galaxies!
    I'm so glad you chose to change your area of study and that you were obedient to the wave particles swirling in and around you. :) I thank your parents as well for making you take those piano lessons from which, in part, you gathered this presentation in 2020. I come to you from 2024 who you urged into your future with your TedTalk though it took 4 years to reach me. :) I venture to guess you play piano with as much feeling and beauty as you interpret science and correlate it to spirituality.
    It's kind of a shame that we will likely be unable in our lifetimes to compare your 2020 pictures of that multi-galaxy with an actual image from OUR futures because I'm guessing there may only appear to be an infitesimal visible change over the next 40-60 years, if even discernable. Yet, hopefully, science will do that for us. My hypothesis is that it will be different in some notable way(s) in some thousands of years, given the interplay between the universes around us and the universes within humans, given the multitude of choices each of us individuals will have made and the galactic changes continuing to occur. The image of the trajectory of those depicted galaxies will thereby likely change, in spite of the constancy of gravitational pull on them. According to this theory, I believe the correlating picture of humanity will also be very different; most hopefully for the better. Thank you for your spiritual contribution to this planet and to our individual and collective universes! When I visually witness or intuit a positive shift on this planet I will think of you having played a beautiful piece of music on your piano. I hope they name this discovery after you: the Chi Theory. :)

    • @davidh9354
      @davidh9354 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @shanna cooke just because science hasn't yet does not mean that it can't or that it won't... it's just that either people haven't tried because they are afraid of the unknown/afraid of what they'd find, or because they think most anything pertaining to spirituality or consciousness or whatever you want to call it isn't worthy of experimentation. It's that and also partially our technology has not come far enough to permit us to peer into ourselves/out into the universe in enough detail to acquire a satisfying enough explanation of how everything works quite yet. We have come quite a long way in recent years, but there is still quite a long way to go.
      It's not even really that "science" or the scientific method/way of thinking is too limited to ever be able to explain these topics/happenings, but more that even if it could, theres a chance that we still wouldn't be able to "truly" understand what it is trying to tell us. Science after all is just a tool that we use to help us understand ourselves and the universe. It is only as limited as we are or as we allow ourselves to be, and we are always evolving. Physically evolving, mentally evolving, our understanding and grasp on what we are collectively experiencing grows each moment, bit by bit.
