Jerry, thanks for warning people with pets about the predators. It a serious thing. Coyotes can scale a 5-6 ft fence. Hawks will come in so fast, you won't even have time to react. Good warning.

Best way to start Monday mornings, Jerry and Linda. Solved the word scramble despite those extra spaces. Guess it is challenging to try and stump the viewers with a new one each week. It is fun. Thanks for the restaurant reviews, too.

We saw “Stayin’ Alive” (a BeeGee’s tribute band) at the Savannah Center last week. 🎶 Sold out show. … a lot of fun 👍🏻 And Rocky & the Rollers (a Villages favorite) played Sawgrass Grove this past weekend, and as you’d expect, so crowded. Met a lot of nice people … no snooty ones there ☝🏻😂 Always a great show … keep up the good work 👊🏻
I live in a gated community in the mountains of PA and I’ve heard that the people in our town often say that the people “at the lake with the stickers on their cars think they are better than everyone else because they live at the lake”. Houses here go anywhere from $80k to well over $1million and everyone is encouraged to come in and use our restaurants, golf courses, campground, etc, and there’s a house within most people’s budget, including rentals. It’s the people from town that feel we are snooty but we’re the same as them.
Great show always like watching them. 26 days, 7 hours, 36 minutes until I am retired. Then sell the house in Colorado and head to The Villages! Looking to buy in the Eastport area! (realtor's no need to reach out, we're already working with someone)
Linda, I think you look great! I'm a stylist & love the bit darker color. Looks great with the pretty purple t-shirt. Honestly, my first thought before you mentioned the color was how pretty you look today.

Blinker fluid absolutely a major maintenance issue. If you don't do it you know what happens. Yep in drive the rear wheels start going forward. Thanks for the tip. 😂

Hi Jerry and Linda! Thank you for another interesting show. My husband and I went on a tour of Ireland last summer. It was absolutely beautiful!! We made it to the Blarney Castle but we didn’t go inside to kiss the Blarney Stone. We ran out of energy walking up to the castle😁. Our favorite area of Ireland was the Ring of Kerry. Enjoy your week🙋🏻♀️❤️
I’m liking your weekly movie review. Ordinary Angels is a movie I’ve been wanting to see. For sure, I will now. I like “Angel” movies too. We had a severe temperature drop last week too. Resulting in severe storms & tornadoes in our state, which is unheard of in February. Camp Villages is something I definitely would be doing with my grandkids if I lived there. Thanks for another great Monday!

@@JERRYANDLINDA Thank you kindly. I am 62 and single (staying that way...lol) and concerned about safety. Are there more safer areas in the TV than others? Can you recommend a location for starters?
We think it is all safe, knock on wood. If you want to be in the most convenient areas right now, you would move North of 44. The South is growing quickly and will be great in a few years.
Nailed it, Jerry. I think people forget that The Villages (TV) is still in the real world and there will still be normal things happening, like some snooty people, rude people, people who complain about everything, some crime, and all the other things that come with living among other people. And while sometimes "hell is other people," it's also really hard to be alone all the time. Community makes us stronger, even while being imperfect. I think we also need to remember that Jerry and Linda don't have the average Villager experience. Not only are they both exceedingly nice and outgoing people, but they're also famous within TV. They may encounter both people who are friendlier towards them because someone they've never met has seen them here and may feel like they're already friends. They may encounter people who want their business featured on the show. They may also encounter people who avoid them as they walk around filming things and some people don't want to be filmed. Wherever they go, they bring different preconceived notions than I would if I were walking around TV. The condition of the golf courses and the lack of available tee times is a direct result of increase use due to the commercialization of residential properties and associated services & spaces for the purpose of commerce. Short term rentals aka AirBNB not only violate federal law when obtaining a HUD owner occupied mortgage to purchase these homes but also violate civil code in creating a commercial venture in a residentially zoned community. These short term rent seekers benefit greatly from the subsidized services and spaces paid for by actual law abiding residences. This theft will continue until you stop it.
Great show as usual Jerry and Linda!! I always enjoy watching and listening to your back and forth banter. You look like a very well suited couple!! Quick question, do you have to be an American citizen to buy in TV? I am a British citizen and my husband is a Canadian, would there be any problems with that do you think? I could really see myself living there full time, not to sure about my husband though. Anyhoosie…….keep the videos coming, so fun and informative and I love ‘em!!! Have. Wonderful week you two and God Bless you and yours 💕🙏🏻💕 I really enjoyed this one and can’t wait for the next one to come as well. 🦋 🦋 Tina 🦋 🦋
Tina, you do not have to be an American citizen. However there are limits to how long you can stay. We believe it is 6 months unless you apply for citizenship or work something out with the government.
I walk around The Villages and there are so many snobby people. I can't believe it! I took a job outside The Villages to get with more everyday folks. Whatever. The town squares have good food and that makes up for some of the pompousness.
About 45 minutes to an hour. The time consuming part is the pre show prep (3 - 4 hrs) and the editing afterward (6 -8 hrs.) Plus of course going out and interviewing folks and videoing clips. Pretty much a full time labor of love.
That sure is dedication! In central Illinois, we appreciate your videos SO MUCH! They get us thru the cold months :). Hope to be able to meet you on our visit in May ( or one of the winters after that). Bless you both for the info you share and for the wonderful positivity!
I don't know anything about TV (physically or historically). Figured the first word of the jumble, but either missing a couple letters... or too many spaces🤔 Will keep working on it.
Our weather on the Front Range of Colorado often goes from snow and 25 degrees to sun and 50-60 in 24 hours, even in mid-winter. And the opposite is true too. But no matter the temp, it's 300 days/year of sun and blue skies. Low humidity compared to Wisconsin though, so it's rarely the bone-chilling cold you get in some other parts of the country.
Be sure to sign them up for a visitor's pass. They can go to any family pool. Some that come to mind are Captiva, Manatee, Bradenton, Burnsed, Truman, Moyer loop, Sterling heights, etc.
It doesn't surprise me a bit that it was a pick-up truck driver that cut you off there in the round-a-bout. They are the worst, most aggressive drivers on the road.
I'm gonna (mis)quote Raylan Givens, ". . . If you run into a snooty person in the morning, chances are they're just snooty. If you run into snooty people all day, chances are you're the snooty one."
We had all our sterile ugly rocks removed from our front yard here in The Villages and replaced with garden soil, manure, and butterfly attracting plants. We now have a yard full of butterflies...crystalis hatching. And all living in harmony with the lizards and is gorgeous

Elaine, I screwed up on the spaces... there should be 13.
Thank you!@@JERRYANDLINDA
Super. Is it 6 letters in the first word and 7 in the second? Breakdown? Gracias...@@JERRYANDLINDA
What's happened to Gizmo??
Examples?
Love your videos! For every half hour or 45 minute video, how long does it take to film it? (With bloopers included)?
About 45 minutes to an hour. The time consuming part is the pre show prep (3 - 4 hrs) and the editing afterward (6 -8 hrs.) Plus of course going out and interviewing folks and videoing clips. Pretty much a full time labor of love.
@@JERRYANDLINDA wow! You need an assistant for sure! But I’m glad you do it for us, we really enjoy it
That sure is dedication! In central Illinois, we appreciate your videos SO MUCH! They get us thru the cold months :). Hope to be able to meet you on our visit in May ( or one of the winters after that). Bless you both for the info you share and for the wonderful positivity!
See you when you get here!
I don't know anything about TV (physically or historically). Figured the first word of the jumble, but either missing a couple letters... or too many spaces🤔
Will keep working on it.
I screwed up Margie, there should be 13 spaces. 7 in the first word 6 in the second.
Love the video love you guys
❤❤❤❤❤
I loves me a good Reuben Sandwich. What place in TV's has good Reubens?
Maybe Toojay's.
We love Colorado. For some reason the air tastes good.
Scramble only has 13 letters for 15 spaces.
2 words, the first one 7 letters the second one 6.
Jerry may have been rejected for golf because the woods needed a break. Haha....
😆😅🤣😅😆
Hello, ill be at my home in glenbrook in july
My niece and nephew will be visiting for a few days. Which pool can i take them to. Thanks gary z
Be sure to sign them up for a visitor's pass. They can go to any family pool. Some that come to mind are Captiva, Manatee, Bradenton, Burnsed, Truman, Moyer loop, Sterling heights, etc.
Are the pools monitored.? I seem to remember when I visited my sister a few years, back we just basically walked in with no pass.
That is a no no.
I'll give you a trick on how to eat a burger. Turn it upside down, when eating, never falls apart! 😊
Even if it falls apart I vacuum it up.😆😆😆
Can you interview someone from the deed compliance office? I think it would be really interesting!
Interviews with employees here are very difficult to get.
@@JERRYANDLINDAthey can wear a ski mask and you can garble their voice (I hope that I am kidding)
It doesn't surprise me a bit that it was a pick-up truck driver that cut you off there in the round-a-bout. They are the worst, most aggressive drivers on the road.
Blinker fluid!😆😆
😆😆😆
Great show, as always. I cut my burgers in quarters like a little kid. 😂 Easier to eat tha way!
Good call!
not to be a party pooper here, but I think at least the garnish in your pie is not a key lime. they are really small (2.5 to 5 cm!).
I'm gonna (mis)quote Raylan Givens, ". . . If you run into a snooty person in the morning, chances are they're just snooty. If you run into snooty people all day, chances are you're the snooty one."
😁😆😅🤣😅😆😁
Great show today. You guys are so funny love the bloopers.
Build more courses! Build more courses! Build more courses!
Preach it Gordie!
With your puzzle, there are 15 spaces, but only 13 letters, was that intentional?
No, dadburn it… I screwed up again. 😩
@@JERRYANDLINDA and we love you anyway😜
Wow Scott, I guess that you think that The Villages was built just for you, huh!?!
