Jerry and Linda appeal to many people for many different reasons? They provide useful information about The Villages for those who are living there and for those who are thinking of retiring there? They seem to be the kind of neighbors that many people would like to have? They seem to be like the parents or grandparents that many wish they had? They seem like really nice people who care about others and many of us find them entertaining to watch?
I love this?? Because it really shows the adventure of Jerry and Linda...
I think the secret of your success is, you’re authentic, funny, emotional, always kind and polite, and you have that certain amount of cheekiness which the audience loves.

Great interview Ruth Dyer did a great job! Hearing you discuss your old home of 33 years such as old family memories, how much you accumulated, going up/down stairs and the house maintenance as you get older. Makes me realize just how much after 50 years we have accumulated in our current home which we also built and what we will have to do if we also move to a smaller home. Sadly, living in Canada the way the housing market is; even if we sold everything (vacant lot and our home) we would not get a home as nice as yours in The Villages.
I love the story of how it all started just uploading a video for your family to see!

Hello. I discovered your TH-cam videos the other day, and I really enjoy learning about The Villages and the two of you and Gizmo! My wife and I are coming to The Villages in August for our Lifestyle Visit. We were in The Villages in April visiting some friends for a day. While we don’t retire for a few years yet, I like to do my research ahead of time. Thank you for these videos!

Really enjoyed this interview! ♥ Like you, we wanted a beach home and were actively looking for one in FL. Then our friend Dave told us about the TV. It sounded to good to be true. We booked a lifestyle visit to check it out and fell in LOVE on Day 1. We knew this is where we wanted to be! After our Lifestyle visit, we rented for a month and bought in 2019. Best thing we ever did! The Villages ®is AMAZING! Plus the beaches are only a 90 minute drive to either coast! An easy day trip and no hurricane worries!

Great interview! I loved hearing Ruth sharing opinions too. I think that people need to hear from people, like Ruth, who don’t actually live in The Villages. There are so many misconceptions and ridiculous rumors about TV. Thanks for the tips on Honeymoon Island too!
