    I found your videos cos I’m looking at buying an RS. I’ve done the same job on sr50’s and I connect the back of the pump to a battery drill to push the oil through to the carb.

    Hi, have been watching your videos and learned a lot. I got a rs 125 , 2008 not long time ago. It has been stored unused for years and the tank has been removed at some point. There is two hoses from fuel valve. Where do they connect?

    • @tomdidit4216
      @tomdidit4216  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there Krisu
      Thanks for watching and commenting.
      I’m only aware of 1 fuel line from the petrol tank. The others are breather hoses that keep the inside of the tank at atmospheric pressure
      Cheers

    what are the ID of the two oil hoses? From the oil tank to pump and from pump to carb?

      in the rs 125 2006 and beyond there is a button under the horn, you must have de bike with the ignition off, then while pressing the button turn on the ignition, and hold it till it dissapears.

    Hey man i was wondering is it better for the bike to run with oil pump or with premix?

    • @tomdidit4216
      @tomdidit4216  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello there.
      IMO. The standard oil pump I believe is sufficient and offers convenience for all aspects of road use. It will also operate ok on the larger 34mm carbs.
      If you decide to modify the bike for all out power and or track use, then I suggest removing the oil delivery system and converting to premix- just like a motorcross bike etc. Ultimately, the choice is yours mate.
      Thanks for watching and your comment!
      Tom

    With two stroke engines, do you have to mix fuel and oil every time you want to refuel your bike?

    • @tomdidit4216
      @tomdidit4216  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. Thank you for your comment.
      No need to premix oil and petrol on the RS.
      These bikes have seperate oil and petrol tank. The engine pumps the correct amount of oil into the carb where it is mixed with the petrol before entering the engine. This is very convenient for road use.
      Thanks again👍

    So I bought a PC125 engine, but initially it reached 8,000 rpm, now it reaches 10,000 and crashes at 10,000, what could be the problem

    • @tomdidit4216
      @tomdidit4216  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there.
      Firstly I need to advise that I’m not a licensed mechanic, however I have years of mechanic experience by maintaining what I own…
      With that said, assuming that 10,000 is not it’s maximum RPM, it would be my best guess that the carb may need a good clean and tune up. Otherwise it may be an electrical timing issue? Hard to tell without listening or feeling the power of the engine.
      Sorry if this isn’t much help mate.
      Thanks reaching out. Ride safe👍

      I really like these bikes. They are one of the latest road legal 2 strokes with electric start and seperate oil injection. Great fun to ride and maintain.

      Hi there.
      I can confirm that a 28mm PHBH is on my bike. Not sure if I mentioned in my last video however the 6Sigma jet kit has worked really well. The bike is free revving through the midrange and power hits around 8K RPM.
      I really appreciate your support. I’ll do my very best to upload another video over the weekend (pending my work commitments)
      Thanks again
