    On Sunday , I'll be uploading a video on my channel ( this PatRiot channel isn't mine, it's on a iPad that 6+ people have access to)
    It's the only hydraulic clutch upgrade I've seen like this, the Ducati ones that stick out the side of the clutch cover isn't a good idea if you dropped the bike, it's going to brake off, but what I've used is small and tucked between the barrel and oil pump.
    It cost £8 for the pump & £28 for the clutch master cylinder & front brake master cylinder, I have the back brake hose as my clutch, but it's too long ( 8-10 inches) and I will have to mock one up and then have it made so it fits on the bike properly like how the cable fits
    I've been using it since September 2020 1700+ miles and I can say it's faultless and it slightly easier to use than cable and a lot smoother, after a few days without using the bike it goes a little soft & spongey, but it only takes a couple of pulls and it is back to normal, it amazing
    I'll post a link from my channel to this channel
    Comment section on Sunday 😉👍🏽👍🏽

    Hey Tom, my ‘08 RS125 has a problem with the clutch where if i put it in gear with the clutch pulled all the way in, it will stall. So to put it in gear i have to get the revs up, if not it will stall. Is this something that can be caused by a badly adjusted clutch?
    btw i love your rs videos;)

    Hi Tom, so I’ve been playing about with the Rs I bought, I found that the powervalve was stuck solid and the solenoid was solid, so after cleaning and freeing everything up I could tell straight away that the bike was running better, now I’ve noticed the bike seems to struggle going past 10,000 rpm I believe I’m running a 34mm carb but the bike seems too rich still smokes quite a bit should I modify the air intake to help with the richness? I noticed you have taken out your snorkel on the air box should I try this? Thanks

    • @tomdidit4216
      @tomdidit4216  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Ronnie & Hilda.
      I’d be cleaning the carb components, checking the jet sizes then plug chop.
      I think and 155 or 160 is the standard main jet size in the 34mm carb?
      I have removed the snorkel for a bit of extra air flow, and allot more induction noise😀.
      Well done on freeing up the power valve.
      Good luck with the tuning.
      Tom.

    Hello what do you think about 75w80 oil for gearbox?

    • @tomdidit4216
      @tomdidit4216  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello again. Thanks for your continued support.
      Honestly I’m not really qualified to advise on this. The manual states that 75-90 should be used. It’s my best recommendation that you stick to the manual (just to be on the safe side)👍
      Thanks again.

      If you have the pbhb28 could be vaccum from the bottom of fuel tap/filter or possibly your kill switch is cutting the bike out when going in gear, good luck

    • @tomdidit4216
      @tomdidit4216  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My apologies for the late response.
      So, when in neutral the bike revs freely - You put it in gear it dies.
      My bike cuts off immediately when I put it in gear and accidentally leave the kick stand is down.
      It sounds to me like your kick stand switch could be faulty?

    • @tomdidit4216

      Hi Chaitanya
      The top speed is about 150kmh as I have it geared for acceleration.
      I have completed some performance upgrades. Bigger carburettor, wossner piston and increased compression. No suspension upgrades at this stage.
      ECU is standard.
      It goes pretty well for a 125 and it is also light weight👍
