Let’s all be honest, there would be no Victor. Each protagonist wouldn’t stop even if they died multiple times, it’s like the name of the game. They might not be extremely powerful but the tenacity and immortality to never give up or stop fighting makes it impossible to beat them.

Kalameeth however is similar, Kalameeth can debuff by just looking at the opponent, has slight telekinesis and was so strong, the creator of the Sun itself, Gwyn in his prime, was afraid of fighting him. Yet the chosen undead traveled back in time to kill these beings. And Ashen One scales above by a million times because the Ashen One beat the Soul of Cinder, which is a combination of all the lords who linked the first flame at their prime.

I’m gonna say short term the tarnished. But long term the undead. By lore there is an ever increasing number of souls and humanities the undead can grow from while realistically (by lore) there’s a finite number of runes that can be acquired. I’m also more afraid of the souls veterans than elden veterans.

Then he killed people that were more than capable of doing it to, twin princes, aldritch, yhorm, sullyvahn etc. And last but not least: Gael. He survived for thousands of years till the end of the world and collected every piece of the dark souls so he’s comparable to the Pygmy, who had the greatest potential of any other person in the dark souls universe. But in basis since in my would be comment I have all the lore stuff; the Chosen Undead and The Hunter are the two strongest protags, second would be The Tarnished and The Ashen one. Third would go to The Demon Slayer and Bearer of the cursed Everyone talks about the Soul of Cinder but that’s not the Ashen One’s best feat, no that’s not even a raw power feat it is only a skill feat since the soul of cinder is so watered down and withered in power it would make Radahn’s sickness look like he was in olympic levels of healthy shape. The Soul of Cinder on the other hand IS the most SKILLED boss we ever fight. The Ashen One’s biggest feat is beating Slave Knight Gale who had pretty much the entirety of the Dark Soul which is in my opinion atleast the strongest thing in the entire franchise. A wielder of the true and full Dark Soul such as the Ashen one when he beats Slave Knight Gale or Manus (tho he couldn’t handle its power), should be able to make quick work of every Elden Ring Boss including the DLC, however that’s only if the lore leading to its infinite potential holds up further. Might I say though the Chosen Undead fighting the Tarnished would still be one glorious battle
If we go off lore then first the flame is the opposite of the frenzied flame because the flame in dark souls represents life death and darkness and light while the frenzied flame represents just chaos like the abyss. but the first flame created the abyss. And the most important thing is we only know how powerful the ashen one is before they consume the flame. And know to the real KILLER. The ashen one didn’t just kill the lord of cinder he killed everyone before too! because whoever gets the flame has the power of all who used to have it! that includes gwen the lord of cinder. And the ashen one was able ago beat THAT and became the new soul of cinder so that makes him insanely powerful. But if you think farther that means the new soul of cinder probably has the power of every player who beat the game. Because other players you summon are in lore from the past and future. So all in all the ashen one is fudging crack there’s a difference between killing Demi god and actual gods.
To be honest the tarnished win against gods who can nuke content and lift the stars and even the ones who use death itself as weapon so there is no comparison 😅

Gael was the strongest being in the universe, he killed literally anyone. The Ashen One kills Gael fully empowered by the Dark Soul. That makes our character the current strongest being in the Universe.
I think that's something the Tarnished can't match.

He survived for thousands of years till the end of the world and collected every piece of the dark souls so he’s comparable to the Pygmy, who had the greatest potential of any other person in the dark souls universe. So stopp overrating the tarnished, he’s strong but not as strong as the ashen one

Actually I made a lot of lore comparisons because something felt wrong in this video, just not sure if I should post them or not.
But in basis since in my would be comment I have all the lore stuff; the Chosen Undead and The Hunter are the two strongest protags, second would be The Tarnished and The Ashen one. Third would go to The Demon Slayer and Bearer of the cursed
Everyone talks about the Soul of Cinder but that’s not the Ashen One’s best feat, no that’s not even a raw power feat it is only a skill feat since the soul of cinder is so watered down and withered in power it would make Radahn’s sickness look like he was in olympic levels of healthy shape. The Soul of Cinder on the other hand IS the most SKILLED boss we ever fight. The Ashen One’s biggest feat is beating Slave Knight Gale who had pretty much the entirety of the Dark Soul which is in my opinion atleast the strongest thing in the entire franchise.
A wielder of the true and full Dark Soul such as the Ashen one when he beats Slave Knight Gale or Manus (tho he couldn’t handle its power), should be able to make quick work of every Elden Ring Boss including the DLC, however that’s only if the lore leading to its infinite potential holds up further. Might I say though the Chosen Undead fighting the Tarnished would still be one glorious battle

If we go off lore then first the flame is the opposite of the frenzied flame because the flame in dark souls represents life death and darkness and light while the frenzied flame represents just chaos like the abyss.
but the first flame created the abyss.
And the most important thing is we only know how powerful the ashen one is before they consume the flame.
And know to the real KILLER. The ashen one didn’t just kill the lord of cinder he killed everyone before too! because whoever gets the flame has the power of all who used to have it! that includes gwen the lord of cinder.
And the ashen one was able ago beat THAT and became the new soul of cinder so that makes him insanely powerful.
But if you think farther that means the new soul of cinder probably has the power of every player who beat the game. Because other players you summon are in lore from the past and future.
So all in all the ashen one is fudging crack there’s a difference between killing Demi god and actual gods.
To be honest the tarnished win against gods who can nuke content and lift the stars and even the ones who use death itself as weapon so there is no comparison 😅

Most protagonists fight weaker versions of the bosses (except Gael, Isshin, Malenia, etc) but the hunter quickly scaled to defeat several gods, able to curse people and create whole upper planes, finally becoming one of them to transcend the hunt
