- My puppy is getting his first taste of cabin life. Normally he's in town and never off leash. Today he gets to run free. Will he run away? That's the big question. One thing is for sure, this place is heaven for our puppy, Puffy.

@@lindadaffin4221 It looks like Puffy has figured out for himself, that he shouldn't jump/walk off the loft. Dogs, especially poodles, are intelligent enough to figure that out, unlike toddlers and little humans.

I had a poodle like yours but he was white. He was a wonderful dog.... He played with me, went fishing, swimming, everything with me. He slept at the foot of my mum's bed when she. Read of an afternoon and sat with my dad way into the wee hours as he marked papers. He was a university proff.. Snowie loved everyone and gave of himself to each and everyone in the way he felt you needed him, just like Puffieeeee ... Blessings darling from Granny Linda in OZ....😊

As a pet owner myself, that really scares the begeezus outta me for Puffy to be up there with no rail. Otherwise, great video. Puffy looks like a great fit for the cabin.

Well Jay finally got yourself a lovely 4 legged friend and I have no doubt he will be very loyal as with most dogs genuine loyalty is their speciality. Many years ago we bought a Poodle Puppy and his dad was a Basenji from South Africa and he was such a joy for our 1st born son. He lived mainly outside but winter time he would live inside our home. Many hours was had by a wonderfully loyal wee friend which we shared so many happy moments. You have a wonderful 4 legged mate. Cheers

Yes. If Puffy is going to go up there, a wall is needed, even if just a half wall. Looking at it when Crystal was making the bed made me want to puke. LOL Good thing you got the stairs put in.

Nice seeing & meeting Crystal & Puffy. What a wonderful surprise a PUPPY!!!! Your little Puffy will be a perfect little traveler & can go many on fishing camping & hiking adventures. Small breed dogs make wonderful companions. (Living on a working grain farm for many years we have had both extra large over 140pounds & small). We now have 2 dogs. 1 Pomeranian 6 pounds 1 Chihuahua 8 pounds (They are not yappy or aggressive dogs. They are very well trained.) Both are such good companions for our busy 3 generation 4 adults & 1 teen family. I’m 62 & have major health problems. They keep Me aka Grammy very busy & active . Just some advice from someone who thought they had things made safe for our dogs. PLEASE make it so Puffy can’t fall from the loft or fall through the stairs. (Trust me their bones break easy & it will cost THOUSANDS to fix.) OH YES MORE VIDEOS OF PUFFY & CRYSTAL TOO

We had a toy poodle for 19 years. Poodles are definitely "pack" dogs. They are so smart and best of all they don't shed! Puffy will be a great addition to your videos. This short video was a surprise and a treat!

Extending the loft to add a rail to the loft would be great. I know your just beginning to add to the cabin and we should have patience. But adding a rail to the loft would prevent an accident. Puffy is so awesome, so much energy and that place is a good place for him to run it off. Glad you have your girlfriend with you she will put a nice touch to the cabin. This place you purchased will be an awesome place. Loved the idea of the shavings for I have many trees to cut up and the shavings are going to be great for my outhouse. Your ideas are so welcomed, and the explanations are awesome too. So, stay safe, warm/cool, and blessings.
People tend to think that poodles are lap dogs but they are far from it. Many years ago now I had 2 standard poodles and a toy poodle, they loved the outdoors. Great video, thank you for sharing. x

Great to see puffy and crystal at camp 2 things that crossed my mind watching you definitely need a railing in the loft and not sure how the raptors aka hawks are around your camp but keep a close eye on puffy always had labs so it wasn't an issue keep them coming

Puffy makes us miss our new puppy. My daughter came home end of January with a 3 mth old cockadoodle and we fell in love with her. The following week we left for Florida. Now we will be heading back to Prince Edward Island in 2 weeks and can’t wait to see Mabel and see how much she has grown.

Puffy is too cute! But, either he, Crystal, or you is gonna fall off that loft unless you build a guard rail. What would happen if you got hurt when it was minus 30 out and no one else around? A guard rail is peace of mind. Love these vids and the cabin And the tents.

Absolutely bring Puffy, my puppy of 8 months sat and watched Puffy with me. I loved seeing you and Crystal making the cabin personal. I also crochet and I loved her manly choice with her choice of stitch and the colors, beautiful job. And I’m with Crystal you definitely need a guard rail for the loft. And if I could suggest something else? When you are cutting with the chain saw. Lay a tarp to catch all the shavings, this way you can drag the leftover material out of the walk ways. And also paraffin wax is an excellent alternative for making shaving fire starters. Keep up the progress I love your life choices. ❤❤❤❤
