The input may vary, depends on the specifications of the ESC, which may support a range of voltage, and the battery you use. With this ESC I was able to use 7.4V and 11.1V batteries.
wonder if there is a video on how to replace my broken mechanical with an esc on my kyosho outlaw ultima truck. just dug it up out of my moms attic after being parked for over 30 years
Hi, I have a jlb cheetah 120a esc, and often get out of control=goes to full throttle for around 2 sec and no response from direction, calibration doesn’t solved the problem…there is something else that i can try, or replace is the only solution…in your opinion..10x :)
Find which element is causing the problem. If you have another set of a remonte control with a similar receiver or extra receiver for the same remote control, you could try switching them and see if anything changes.
Thanks for your comments. As explained in this video, this was a specific case, this car's steering mechanism was not the one a regular servo would handle, nor was something I wanted to replace, thus another ESC for the existing steering mechanism.

What is the voltage input at the red cable? Is it 12v?

Is that esc can automatically adjust base on required voltage for motor to move?
It starts from 0 to the maximum voltage indicated in the specifications when you start accelerating. The right battery should be chosen as well.
How can I make my brushed esc to handle my 8 turn brushed motor without shutting down ?

U have that motor give link and all parts
The links to ESCs and the remote control are in the video description. The motors are random ones, should work with any.
You know you just needed to hook the servo to a connector that can connect to the receiver. 2 esc's is not the answer. You will learn in time.

Channel 1 is always steering and Channel 2 is always throttle
