    Speaking as a 35-year triple-tradie with qualifications in heavy fabrication, sheet metal and machining, nice tradesmanship. I couldn't have soldered those joints any cleaner. Liked and subbed. As a relative noob to RC I look forward to learning more from you.

    Super clear video thanks.
    Only thing I would add is maybe using tweezers or thin nose pliers to hold the wires whilst soldering them to the tabs. They can get super hot!

    End points... AHA I believe that's how I toasted the stock servo in my drift car. Thanks for the information.

      yeah, I don't remember seeing anyone use this technique before, but it works for me!

    I like to heat up the surface that I am adhering the servo tape to. It seem to stick better and longer.

    How do you know what wire to solder to what part on the motor or does it not matter

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The ESC and motor should both be labeled ABC or Blue Orange Yellow. So you just match the letters or colors.

    Thanks for sharing your skills & techniques, it really helps. I have the typhoon mega that overheats so I will be soldering the motor fan cable with esc fan cable to plug in the 3channel receiver.

    Thank you for your video, it's really informative. Could you also add running the wires to the receiver as well if you have a future video. Although I was able to figure it out in the background, being new to this hobby, i didn't know how the receiver wires were ran. I would have saved lots of time and errors had I known how to run them.

    Nice video sir 😊 I did notice however that you didn't use flux while soldering I was always told that was important what do you think about that?.

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, I use rosin core solder, so there is flux in the solder itself.

    I'm about to use superglue because I'm frustrated so this will be interesting. Heavy duty outdoor velcro didn't even work a little bit. Double sided tape cost at least 10 dollars, 1/5th the cost of the hobbywing ESC itself. Why isn't there a standard esc mounting screw for hobby grade RC's #stupid, every rc ive owned this was an issue. Completely crazy.

    • @RazorRC
      @RazorRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      they're labeled on the ESC, also like I mentioned in the video at 1:23, it's Blue->A, Yellow->B, Orange->C
