The clippings would oft be used to make a locket, an artistic collage, or some similar small object which one could keep and view on a regular basis as a remembrance. My family is Scotch-Irish-English and still carry on the tradition to this day, though typically we don't make anything out of the clippings but rather include them in a remembrance book with photos, letters, and other small personal items of the deceased.

I would love to have those miniature cars that you received Mr. May. Not only would my kids think they are cool but to have something that the GREAT James May has touched, that would be very cool.
