In my opinion, they build things very cheaply, and the money they save , they spend on advertising. I have noticed that when I do a search for Atlas, it shows up as rising S. I know you can pay for services that put you in front of everybody else even if they search for somebody else you end up being on top and I believe that is what they’re doing, they are trying to get to the customer before atlas does because once they see an Atlas survival shelter, and do their research there’s no way they would buy a Rising S in my opinion.

But the biggest problem with all this bunkers is that the ribs is outside the plates.
With big pressure ( from an event :) from outside, the first thing that is going to happend is that the plates will loosening from the ribs ( and your space inside will be smaller :).
A bunker with ribs innside the plates and where you are going to live, will be mush more strong/secure.

You could buy one of his DIY kits and find a local ICF builder.
Insulated concrete forms are becoming more common and they have roofs capable of holding up to 70 tons so you could bury it or put it under your patio, garage or driveway.
To my mind, it is more practical to build a bunker into a house rather than completely separate.

You're an Honest man Ron. I can see your passion about delivering a solid product. It is very clear in the video and from other videos you have done in the past that these "Competitors" are not even in the same ballpark as your bunkers. Heck My nephews treehouse/fort is built stronger then these crap bunker's. if i paid $160,000K and got that delivered i would be Furious. As they say "You pay for what you get" But in this case you actually dont. 160K is alot of money and this just looks like a rip off. How are people like this getting away with selling such dodge products. You would think they would have law suits out the ass by now for ripping people off.
At this point I feel anyone who is looking for such unique items such as a Bunker would have heard of your company Atlas in their research. Im not saying you are the only good bunker builder out there but you are no doubt one of the best. The fact people in the market for a bunker ignore all your videos on showing your bunker vs the "Competitors" and ignore all the signs that these competitors are not what they say they are i kinda no longer feel bad for some of them getting screwed over all because the wanted to save a buck.

As ICBMs from the Chinese Communist Party and IRBM attacks from North Korea using tactical nuclear warheads are becoming a reality, there is a debate in Japan whether a BUNKER should be built at home.
Due to the very high spring water and soft ground, the construction of BUNKERs in Japan is extremely expensive and often shallow from the ground.

I have a Rising S bunker. We have LITERALLY spent over $8,000 fixing what Rising S did to our yard and what they left unfixed, or what broke inside the shelter after they dropped it in the ground. The latest fiasco is the cheap plastic air filtration system they installed is BROKEN. While I don't have an Atlas shelter, I've visited their construction site and seen the quality of work, though this does mean I don't know how they stand up over time.
My Rising S shelter has rust inside from the water leaks flooding in at least 3 different times, which I fixed every time. We had to get a lawyer to threaten them to fix just ONE of the problems they caused or left unfixed.

From just the welding seams and the traces of welding, it can be stated that the quality of the S bunker is worse than inferior. insufficient material strength. I'm pretty sure the structure can't withstand the pressure of the soil. But I notice that the welding method of the Atlas bunker creates great holes for water to penetrate and corrode the structure. You see, the paint does not protect the gaps where the paint does not penetrate.

Just yesterday I started looking into bunkers. 1ST one I saw was Raising s company. Then I saw urs. JUST looking at the 3 inch tube vs the I beams. HANDS DOWN urs is built better. Hands down I will b getting one from u when I get my own property. ILL even do a video on my channel about it. From start to finish. "Building installing and living in it for a month.

@@AtlasSurvivalShelters yea u nailed it with the crooks. So I have been looking at the California minus the 2 units of the sleeping quarters and the garage. What's the time frame for building that? Also do u allow a walk around as well? And is ur number current on ur website?

I can't weld, but even I would be embarrassed to make so crappy welds!
It could have been worse, though...
It could have been a 40' shipping container. Of course, they don't cost that much, and if you're careful to put supports on the inside you could probably encase on of those in concrete and get a just as good result...

Wow. I'm really glad you made this video and that by a stroke of luck, it was in my recommendation feed... Seeing this was more than a stroke of luck, I believe. Seeing this was more like divine intervention since my wife and I have been talking about underground bunkers. I would _never_ even consider looking at a Rising S Bunker. Seven feet height is just completely puny. With everything you would need to store, seven feet would just make me feel extremely claustrophobic. People who go with Rising S are just throwing away their hard-earned money. This should be a massive lawsuit. All money should be returned involved in the making of these Rising S Bunkers, as well as entirely returning any and all other fees involved, such as digging the holes, even if the holes are dug by other companies. These need to be taken out of the ground everywhere in which they were installed and taken back by Rising S. Those who purchased these cheap bunkers from this company that lied to them should have the freedom to have them entirely replaced with Atlas Shelters and/or another company that is on the level of Atlas. I don't know much about these shelters, but I can't imagine that there are many other companies in existence that are of such a high grade as Atlas. I'm really glad that I found this so that in the possible near future, my wife and I will know what to look for and who to look for first and foremost, Atlas.... We will definitely not be wasting any time looking at Rising S.
Thank you for making this video and doing a wonderful job showing the differences in quality. I really feel sorry for anyone who purchased anything Rising S. What a shame.
