I will say this though Matt. As a pew pew vault. Make sure your ventilation system is on point. Basements or bunkers with little or no moving air tend to get humid. And too much of that is bad for metal

I was a field service technician for a company that made vaults very similar for pump stations. I did this For 21 years. I retired in 2010 from this company. They had been building these steel capsuls since the early 60's. I have worked in more of these things that had been in the ground for at least 40 years and was in incrediable condition. Still very serviceable, not leaking. The main reason most of these vaults/ pump, control valve stations have been replaced is because of capacity in serving the systems they were originaly designed to serve. Not because of the failure of the integrety of the capsul. This vault/ capsul will still be servicable long after demoranch is old and retired. I didn't recieve a dime for this free information that can be proven. Just not worth my time to do so. There are lots of water districts all over the US that have these types of pump stations steel vaults in service.
The one he has has been proven to leak do to shoddy construction by a shoddy man, that's a fact that can be proven that Matt knew nothing about until after he purchased the item, Matt is an upstanding guy ☺️

Most don't know but its not that easy to have one. With state laws and the DNR. That is something you have to research. Also if you want one go out and start digging a hole and make one yourself. Because the law does require permits and planning. And its not going to be secure when everyone knows about it.

Most don't know but its not that easy to have one. With state laws and the DNR. That is something you have to research. Also if you want one go out and start digging a hole and make one yourself. Because the law does require permits and planning. And its not going to be secure when everyone knows about it.
