This is one of the right place to earn money, however you need to do lots of practice, it will take minimum 3 to 4 yrs to understand our Indian market to survive, learn then earn. Our young people don't have patient to learn all these steps, they want to jump directly to option for quick money, that is the reason 99% failed in this business. For last three yrs I have been a swing trader, first few months I saw some good profit, after October 2021 faced lots of lose and learnt lot, today I can see some profit every month, however it will take another year to see right consistent profit 4% per month. Is it possible, yes, through your practice.

In the past except brokerage there was no government taxes for trading .When fraction of 1percent with huge capital make money and the innocent 99.5 percent retail traders lose money at the cost of goverment taxes ,brokers,huge capital players. you just missed the plot of what he is saying, in 2.5 years if you would have kept your money in FD it must have been the same amount which you are sitting with now, so my question is why stock market ? Only if you are having high capital and making 12% annually you should stay otherwise it is useless
trading is not meant for learners, its for experts, invest in equity market in around 12 diverse stocks which makes consistent profits for last Five years, and watch them for next five years, if possible pump more money in stocks doing well, expect them to give atleast 15% annually, but keep for five, years unless company have internal trouble. its my advice
