This session deserves to be watched again & again. The things which Shreyas said about losing trades is very important before entering this business. Profit is in everybody's MTM or many videos but real trick is to manage losses to survive in this business. Great one Shreyas , thanks a lot for such a knowledgeable & serious information.
There is nothing new in this concept, naked short position. The question was not asked about his protection against sudden market crash or market freak move ( which happens time to time ). So, the danger of unlimited loss is never discussed.
@@SD-od3wu No stop loss mentioned in the video, you can not make so much money so fast without higher degree of risk. Naked position carries unlimited risk, there is no protection in his strategy for freak events during market hours, such as freak circuit break, sudden plunge in market for various reasons, this things happened in the recent past. If you protect your risk in Nifty sell by buying next strike, the max loss / profit loss ratio for 20 delta is almost 10:1, that is much safer bet, then again if you meet with one loss, it will take 10 trade to recover, that is one of the best risk protection trade as far as I am concerned.

This is one of the best videos ever. I follow Shreyas from quite a long time and i would say that i have learn't alot from him and from his trading style on Intraday basis. I have learnt from him the risk management on daily basis that how much to put on table to gain some x number of points in a day. I just saw the entire conversation or podcast and I must say that I never came across such a knowledgeable person . He is the future guru of Trading world. And a Big shoutout to Vivek ji for asking such witty questions to him. Obviously his intellect is unquestionably the best of all.
Let me clear a very valid point , He strated with Edge , probability blah blah but ends up with the same strategy which everyone uses, Check Atm straddle-create strangle in concurrence- use risk reward. So what is the outcome, he used a psychology = start with a confusing /tough strategy and then deliver a used product/strategy . Making of a futuristic con man and no one can change this 😁😁
An alternate strategy can be used to provide low-risk trade entries with high-profit potential, it best to acquire all the knowledge needed and make your plan to attack.
It can pay off handsomely to think outside the box and go where many investors fear to go. Trading can turn on a dime and very few investors have generated a long-term competitive advantage day trading.

I have watched it for 5 times. This is 6th time i am watching. Every time i watch it, I learn something new.

You guys have the advantage of leverage after being full time trader with proper risk management and consistency. Now even if we get both we can grow by 4 to 5% PM if no operational blunders happen
What's the urgency? 50% a year is extraordinary. Anyway leverage is doubled edged, if you have things going against you, you can be wiped out. Only good traders will be helped by leverage.

Actually option sellers do have an edge over a long time which is the implied volatility being higher than the recorded volatility. Risk management creating an edge means in some way justifying trend following in terms of pure price action or in terms of volatility.

But after some time we can figure it out based on our experience about them and not on the basis of what they just say. And again duplicates are getting sold just because there are few original too.
@@rohanrohan3154 I dont think this channel checks the genuinity of P&L statements of persons they interview...most of people interviewed here are youtubers. hardly some have showed their statements and they claim their annual ROI is only 25 to 28% or sometimes even loss. which is true in case of trading.....its so easy to fool people...see the so much positive comments on the comment section of this video...people who take inspiration by this "30 lack to 5 crore in 4 years" video will wipe out their trading account sooner.

I have multiple doubts regarding this a) when one leg should cut, I mean after how much premium it has lost or other has gained. Some times market falls in 1st half then it goes up so in that scenario how to handle. B) in what scenario I have rolled down the put in stead of call Thanks a lot vivek ji for your wonderful work !
If you see his videos on his channel, you will get an idea. One thing is he never only one side even if the direction of the market is clear is what I have observed.
@@krjvlogs3707 you can adjust based on your risk appetite. There's no rule. If you watch Shreyas's channel you'll know that he has developed muscle memory of his style with practice. You'll need a lot of practice to get the hang of it. The question you're asking shows that your approach is too theoretical. You want everything hard coded ready to be spoon fed.
I think he has read Rich Dad and Poor Dad. This was exactly mentioned in that book. I liked his approach. Only reading books is not the key to success, rather bringing it to action is the most important. Great Video
Sir kindly show us interview of some normal trader who made 1 lakh with 10 thiusand.. That would b much more inspiring n motivating. Because making the initial capital of 2 or 3 lakhs with very limited money is much more challenging in stock market that making crores with decent 20 to 30 lakh capital.

Very simple and effective technique. I have one small question about when you will shift your position up or down. As initially, you have a similar premium on both sides and due to market movement difference between them increases, then about how many points difference in premium, you decide to change your positions.
Let's say u have taken a premium of 50 on both sides. The market started moving down and the premiums have become 40 CE and 60 PE, He will square of the 40 CE position and take the strike on CE side which has a premium of 60. Now he has open positions with 60 PE and 60 CE. Whenever the loss of 5 points or profit of 10 points (5 and 10 has been put here as an example, Risk Reward is on your shoulder) comes first he will square off everything and get out of the market.
Watched with full concentration ( a rarity for me ). Primarily because Shreyas is transparent and reveals all his techniques , cant appreciate this enough .Also he was structured and systematic, including building the concepts initially . Altho' I didn't understand every move and need to re-watch , nevertheless THANKS A TON VIVEK , this was one of the most "learning " sessions for a newbie like me .

Would have been better if the traded strikes were shown on Wednesday and Thursday. Because premiums are too less even at 200 points away (nifty). And gamma pahelwan is very dominating at these near to expiry days and near to ATM Strikes.

You guys have the advantage of leverage after being full time trader with proper risk management and consistency.
Now even if we get both we can grow by 4 to 5% PM if no operational blunders happen
What's the urgency? 50% a year is extraordinary. Anyway leverage is doubled edged, if you have things going against you, you can be wiped out. Only good traders will be helped by leverage.
I guess 4-5% p.m is great for a trader.... Try to increase your income and investment first... That will help you achieving more profits

Actually option sellers do have an edge over a long time which is the implied volatility being higher than the recorded volatility. Risk management creating an edge means in some way justifying trend following in terms of pure price action or in terms of volatility.

But after some time we can figure it out based on our experience about them and not on the basis of what they just say. And again duplicates are getting sold just because there are few original too.
@@rohanrohan3154 I dont think this channel checks the genuinity of P&L statements of persons they interview...most of people interviewed here are youtubers. hardly some have showed their statements and they claim their annual ROI is only 25 to 28% or sometimes even loss. which is true in case of trading.....its so easy to fool people...see the so much positive comments on the comment section of this video...people who take inspiration by this "30 lack to 5 crore in 4 years" video will wipe out their trading account sooner.

I have multiple doubts regarding this
a) when one leg should cut, I mean after how much premium it has lost or other has gained. Some times market falls in 1st half then it goes up so in that scenario how to handle.
B) in what scenario I have rolled down the put in stead of call

If you see his videos on his channel, you will get an idea. One thing is he never only one side even if the direction of the market is clear is what I have observed.

@@krjvlogs3707 you can adjust based on your risk appetite. There's no rule. If you watch Shreyas's channel you'll know that he has developed muscle memory of his style with practice. You'll need a lot of practice to get the hang of it. The question you're asking shows that your approach is too theoretical. You want everything hard coded ready to be spoon fed.
I think he has read Rich Dad and Poor Dad. This was exactly mentioned in that book. I liked his approach.
Only reading books is not the key to success, rather bringing it to action is the most important.

Sir kindly show us interview of some normal trader who made 1 lakh with 10 thiusand.. That would b much more inspiring n motivating. Because making the initial capital of 2 or 3 lakhs with very limited money is much more challenging in stock market that making crores with decent 20 to 30 lakh capital.

It felt me so complicated that I had to watch it for 2 days with repeat play and focusing on every word he has been saying about.
Very simple and effective technique. I have one small question about when you will shift your position up or down. As initially, you have a similar premium on both sides and due to market movement difference between them increases, then about how many points difference in premium, you decide to change your positions.
Let's say u have taken a premium of 50 on both sides. The market started moving down and the premiums have become 40 CE and 60 PE, He will square of the 40 CE position and take the strike on CE side which has a premium of 60. Now he has open positions with 60 PE and 60 CE. Whenever the loss of 5 points or profit of 10 points (5 and 10 has been put here as an example, Risk Reward is on your shoulder) comes first he will square off everything and get out of the market.

Would have been better if the traded strikes were shown on Wednesday and Thursday. Because premiums are too less even at 200 points away (nifty). And gamma pahelwan is very dominating at these near to expiry days and near to ATM Strikes.
